People have been asking for loot like this since the game launched. The devs added loot to the kraken or some shit, but it wasnt really unique or a whole ship. Unique loot and ships and stuff would be cool, and not just for the launch of a new fkn wipe.

I've been on your side, and also the other side. I was in dvs and before dvs took over somewhat annoyingly, that was ascalon. That season ended, just after I left dvs. Shout out to enki. Then i started playing solo again when the new season started, and made a friend in tpg, and thought ok whatever i'll join them. Then i was in fed. Then i quit because its just a silly game, that barrel decision was asinine.

The game has had people who are gamers who play the game, but the devs don't really listen, or most likely don't know what they are doing when it comes to game design. This is your first post, please read the rest of the forum, then come back to me/us?

The issues with barrels is that they are not just mostly stupid, they are just completely stupid and have nothing to do with time investment risk reward or any systems that you good sir shouldn't be going into right now anyway because of many reasons. Have fun in another game..... ? :/

What exactly are your cannon towers going to do when i leave my ship that is invincible next to you base? Why do you think you would even be able to build cannon towers? ;)

My point was that the devs and players can say anything, and it is correct to say much of any situation depends on the 'actual implementation methods'. And then we get barrels or a camelophant etc.

Yeah man, i miss that top hat haha! I stopped playing when i got one shot by a barrel on a bred tiger during a big battle, it was just fucking stupid. The barrel takes minutes to make compared to a tiger, or to finding a decent sail bp. Nobody wants to lose their good sail to something that takes minutes to make. The "trade system" hype to me is just ridiculous, but yep maybe in a 3 years or 5 the devs will make a good game.

Claiming is the dumbest and worst part of the game? Because you aren't able to hold a island or like settling on someones island? You want 24/7 PVP and everybody just keeps their stuff in freeport or in green anchored invincible ship that is parked next to your base? This thread is interesting, seems to be a bit of overthinking though when you think about what GS is probably doing.
