"In-game" support seems to mean that people playing in the game don't get support, so if people aren't playing in the game are they able to get support from this automated response? In pve, not really. You should be able to demo after a while. Did you pay gold for this ship? Thats a bummer if you did, because crew also costs gold. Just build a new ship. If you don't have a company, and you click create company, your ship should stay in the company, so that is weird. There is an option that can make things you own before making or joining a company get locked out, but i think the default setting should move your stuff into your company when you click create for the first time.

Ramshackle sloop was made to help people get out of freeport, they are cheap and are crap, but nobody that i played with has ever said yeh get rid of them for no reason. What are you basing your preference on? I have built many ramshackle sloops to get the foy or to help someone with a powerstone, and never had a problem with them. My enemies also never had a problem. Rafts are no problems either. Rafts and sloops can be fun. If you gave me a free schooner, i would create a character, merge it in to my company, and then repeat. Save 5k and avoid stupid gimmicks.

To me, I only just need to realise that PVE is PVP without the PVP, and I would try to think about game balance/OP complaining that they can't play solo without needing a company that carries them.
