  1. I can confirm this as well. Newly-built galleon, 3 gunports in the stern and 1 in the bow do not allow placement of either normal or large cannons. Blackwood map, dedicated server. I do run 4 mods (pickup/transfer gun, 2 eco's mods, evaporative cooler) but there are no modded structures on the ship.
  2. West of the Freeport buildings, there is a tall pillar that looks like a dead tree, very close to the western shoreline. At the base of the west side of that pillar is what looks like a mine entrance filled with a red glow that blocks passage. If it's night, you can see the red glow from the shoreline. That being said, make sure you're on the DLC map and not the Workshop version. My server host swapped everything to the Workshop map so I can't see it on my server at all, but I can in single-player.
  3. Hydra/Drake island, NE corner, west of the Freeport.
  4. It is on the NE island. The SE section of that island has a Freeport with asian-style buildings. If you're on the correct version of the map, you'll see a pillar that looks like a dead tree west of the Freeport. The entrance is on the west side of that pillar. It looks like a mine entrance, with a red glow that blocks your path. Edit: And yes, I'm still on the wrong map. I fiddled with it for 5 hours last night and barely got any sleep before work
  5. Well, it appears this is a Nitrado issue. It works fine in single-player, I'm able to approach the entrance without problems. I figured I'd just reinstall the server and restore a backup, thinking the update didn't go through properly on the server. After doing that, I'm on the Steam Workshop version of the Blackwood map, not the DLC version. I didn't even have that version installed on my computer before, I don't have that mod ID entered on the server setup, and I chose the same map dropdown I was using on the previous setup. So if you're getting this problem on a Nitrado server, it's because they're morons.
  6. The August 23rd update has left me with some issues on a Blackwood dedicated server that make the game unplayable in at least one area. My base is located on the NE Island (Hydra/Drake), on the shoreline just west of the Freeport. I'm kind of glad I didn't place it a hundred yards North - where I had originally intended - because that is now a cave/mine entrance with a glowing red mist inside it. I'm assuming this is the location for the new boss, but I can't tell for sure because I crash every time I get near it. CCC doesn't seem to work on Blackwood, so I can't post TP coordinates (The GPS coords just offshore are 101.77 x -80.44). It should be fairly easy to find, since the devs just put a... something... there. At my base - just South where the beach becomes a cliff - everything is fine. I can move around, mount & dismount dinos, craft, kill cobras... no issues. If I go anywhere near that entrance, I will crash within 30 seconds. The rocks near the entrance don't have proper collision... it's like the new terrain was just superimposed over the old terrain. The crash log says: Assertion failed: (Index >= 0) & (Index < ArrayNum) [File:H:\YARKUpdateBlackWood\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Public\Containers\Array.h] [Line: 572] Array index out of bounds: 129 from an array of size 128 VERSION: 218.28 KERNELBASE.dll!UnknownFunction (0x00007ffc4486a839) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] AtlasGame.exe!FOutputDevice::Logf__VA() (0x00007ff7afb34ce8) + 159 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\private\misc\outputdevice.cpp:145] AtlasGame.exe!FDebug::AssertFailed() (0x00007ff7afb35039) + 65 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\private\misc\outputdevice.cpp:220] AtlasGame.exe!UInstancedStaticMeshComponent::BaseGetInstanceVisibility() (0x00007ff7b033dbeb) + 107 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\instancedstaticmesh.cpp:1984] AtlasGame.exe!AShooterPlayerController::GetAimedUseActor() (0x00007ff7aef2f615) + 31 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\projects\shootergame\source\shootergame\private\shooterplayercontroller.cpp:1044] AtlasGame.exe!AShooterPlayerController::TickActor() (0x00007ff7aef3860f) + 17 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\projects\shootergame\source\shootergame\private\shooterplayercontroller.cpp:3044] AtlasGame.exe!TGraphTask<FTickTaskSequencer::FTickFunctionTask>::ExecuteTask() (0x00007ff7b05a3e76) + 31 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\public\async\taskgraphinterfaces.h:874] AtlasGame.exe!FNamedTaskThread::ProcessTasksNamedThread() (0x00007ff7afaabdb8) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\private\async\taskgraph.cpp:942] AtlasGame.exe!FNamedTaskThread::ProcessTasksUntilQuit() (0x00007ff7afaaaf6d) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\private\async\taskgraph.cpp:683] AtlasGame.exe!FTaskGraphImplementation::WaitUntilTasksComplete() (0x00007ff7afaadd30) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\private\async\taskgraph.cpp:1785] AtlasGame.exe!FTaskGraphInterface::WaitUntilTaskCompletes() (0x00007ff7afb52f79) + 17 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\core\public\async\taskgraphinterfaces.h:322] AtlasGame.exe!FTickTaskSequencer::ReleaseTickGroup() (0x00007ff7b056ae59) + 85 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\ticktaskmanager.cpp:188] AtlasGame.exe!FTickTaskManager::RunTickGroup() (0x00007ff7b0570e4c) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\ticktaskmanager.cpp:999] AtlasGame.exe!UWorld::RunTickGroup() (0x00007ff7b03a2626) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\leveltick.cpp:702] AtlasGame.exe!UWorld::Tick() (0x00007ff7b03a3a81) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\leveltick.cpp:1228] AtlasGame.exe!UGameEngine::Tick() (0x00007ff7b02d5664) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\gameengine.cpp:1183] AtlasGame.exe!FEngineLoop::Tick() (0x00007ff7ae6fe7ef) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\launchengineloop.cpp:2733] AtlasGame.exe!GuardedMain() (0x00007ff7ae6f909c) + 0 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\launch.cpp:140] AtlasGame.exe!GuardedMainWrapper() (0x00007ff7ae70127a) + 5 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\windows\launchwindows.cpp:125] AtlasGame.exe!WinMain() (0x00007ff7ae7013a8) + 8 bytes [h:\yarkupdateblackwood\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\windows\launchwindows.cpp:209] AtlasGame.exe!__tmainCRTStartup() (0x00007ff7b160d959) + 21 bytes [f:\dd\vctools\crt\crtw32\dllstuff\crtexe.c:618] KERNEL32.DLL!UnknownFunction (0x00007ffc46a47bd4) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] ntdll.dll!UnknownFunction (0x00007ffc46bcce71) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] ntdll.dll!UnknownFunction (0x00007ffc46bcce71) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0]
  7. Swim inside the wreck through holes in the hull. There's a treasure chest in there you can loot.
  8. There are definitely some issues with resources not being what they should. I know the patch you're talking about in the Freeport that should be wheat. There's also one row of crops in the potato/carrot/beet farm that you can't harvest; I wonder if that is supposed to be turnips. Everything that looks like Acai berries actually gives fiber. The reddish nodes on the beach of the Freeport show crystal when you look at them with H, but actually give salt. The only "pure" metal nodes I have found are Tin. I've only gotten other metals in small amounts by mining normal rocks. A LOT of plants that look like fiber nodes actually give berries.
  9. If you're saying the beds still don't work after the wipe, try a reinstall on the server. I did that when I wiped just to be thorough.
  10. Did you wipe, or did you create a new character & use admin commands to reclaim the old stuff? I've talked to multiple server owners about the Blackwood issue, and everyone who tried to keep their save has continued to have problems (myself included). After several days of creating a new company and reclaiming the old stuff every day, I gave in and just wiped the server. I've had no issues since.
  11. I get a lag spike when traveling, as the island I'm traveling to starts to come within render range. Other than that, nothing serious.
  12. Wipe it and restart. That's what I had to do to fix it.
  13. After several days of redoing the "create character, claim stuff" carousel, I just gave up on it and wiped my server. Fully uninstalled the game, then reinstalled and set up the settings/mods from scratch. I don't yet know if that worked (had to go to work before I could test it) but if that didn't work, nothing will.
  14. The tech at your service provider is wrong. I'm running a Nitrado server on Blackwood and and it's saving a backup once per day. Now, I actually have it set to save every hour, so it's by no means perfect. That being said, you should be able to do a manual save in-game or through ARKon with "cheat saveworld".
