Please. Please sell it to a more capable company. This game has so much amazing potential. Try Bioware or Amazon. They would buy the assets to add to New World as an expansion. Just please, sell it. You can't afford what this game needs. I'm sorry.

Yeh I agree, 3 factions would be best because it would ensure a constant battle going on, they could colour split the map like in ESO tamriel pvp. Pyrates vs traders vs navy. I am mainly a pve player in most games but if pvp is done right I always join it. Also if they allocated you a faction by numbers then it would always be fair, and they could have a friends notification list so you could be in the same faction when a place becomes available. They could always give you a choice option, but put you in a queue if you opt to choose.

Barrel bombs have been an issue for as long as i can remember. The community has pleaded to you guys to nerf them, and even remove them from the game. Instead they have been buffed. Able to toss them from a glider. Shoot them out of cannons and catapults. Being able to shoot them from the back of a horse. PvP is dead in atlas now. Boat pvp is done, there is no longer any reason to have a BP'd ship anymore since a common ship with barrels will just 1 shot your planks. Land PvP has just devolved into who can drop more barrels. Tames get 1 shot. Players get 1 shot. Bases get ripped apart by naked's on gliders. Bottom line. The game is not fun anymore. LISTEN TO THE COMMUNITY PLEASE! There will be no future for Atlas if these recent changes arent reverted quickly. Just completely remove barrels please. Let the players have some fun and actually engage in battles. One shotting someone with a barrel is not fun. Its not a battle. Its not PvP. It doesn't get the heart racing. There is no skill involved. It's not fun.

    Here goes the forgiving part

Yeah same with me, I know nothing will change to improve it in the short term just from what they have done so far so I am taking the break also. Hopefully next season it has turned around but I won't hold my breath.

Well guys, I'm out for this season allready. Maybe next season there's some fixed bugs. Take care all, that goes for the devteam as well. I hope you guys do the right thing as priorities will be set.

Instead of adjusting shield bash. They told everyone the season is over by jumping us with barrels bombs... Slow clap for the devs, always the ultimate trolls.

Exactly, that's what happened to me. You've removed it and someone else has placed one down somewhere, the area of the warehouse is that large that it's literally 1 per island. I have the exact same problem, gave up with it though, time for another long break from the game.

You misunderstand what they complain about. It is that the warehouse whose entire point for existing was indeed to eliminate the need for cargo beasts to run around and collect things from windmills does not collect wood/thatch that it needs for fuel - even though the windmills are self-fueling. This means that you need to go collect wood/thatch from your windmills to keep your warehouse running. Which defeats the entire purpose for the warehouse even existing, which was collecting from windmills. Like it or not the intent of these changes is to automate land functions (gathering/taming) so that people spend more time at sea, and the complaint is that the warehouses which are intended to do that very thing, are not actually going to accomplish that. You are much better off putting a ship storage box at your windmills, making your rounds and dropping what you do not need right then into the ship storage box. Yes you then have to go out to the windmill when you do need that stuff later, but that is not any different than having to go out to windmill to gather the thatch/wood to get the fuel to run the warehouse. It is actually a better solution because the ship storage boxes are bottomless, and you go to the windmills only when you need it and not when the warehouse needs it. It is so badly implemented it clearly was some junior programmer that had made the warehouses pull wood/thatch then QA said hey my windmills stopped for no fuel. Rather than think about it for a second and make a change to not pull all the fuel from the windmills and just leave some to keep the network runnning, the stoopid programmer just said I will fix it by not pulling fuel. It smacks of a serious lack of design forethought.

Ahem, you are a white knighting, cat microwaving fuck, fight me.

This is a great outline of how this should work. I hope the devs see this. I cant use warehouse currently because well others have them. the above is pretty perfect overall.

OMG who said anything about you or any other pvp'er being responsible?!<rhetorical. PVE is the same as PVP only we don't have a need to go shooting people and we don't have a need to go destroying what others have built. We are pretty tame people until, we get riled that is

I still reeling from the fact that I was sad I couldn’t build a warehouse. A WAREHOUSE! In the movie Big with Tom Hanks the company he works for is excited because they have developed a transformer (like Autobot) that can transform back into a building. Tom Hank’s childhood character says, “What’s fun about a building? Who wants to play with the building?” I’m ashamed that I have lost my child-like sense of fun to the point I looked forward to having a building. Shame on me. And shame on you Devs for giving us buildings that don’t even turn into Autobots.

Yes please, would completly kill my desire to play and free up a bunch of time for other games

Explains why I can't build mine even on Lawless. Stupid things, they can never get anything right first time.

Oh you mean by cheesing their way out by having larger strength in numbers and offline raiding everyone they can get a hold of? Those truly are some brave PvP players. Imagine what epic battles would ensue if they were online at the same time as the people they're fighting. You can return to barrel-bomb griefing offline newbies now.

I spotted you, a pvp player right off the bat you know? The one that got OUR NA server that has hardly any of the issues that the EU one does? Real smart and bright of you to throw down comments that don't genuinely help anybody or anything except maybe your overblown ego which to the rest of us looks like a lowly smarta$$ that offers nothing but shite to a comment, seriously, you offered nothing so why don't YOU keep your trap shut when you have none of the problems us PVE players on the crappy EU server have, that wasn't a question.

One of my biggest complaints about Atlas is that the Devs don't seem to know what they want this game to be, other than some generic idea of it being "A Pirate Game". Unfortunately what the Devs seem to know about pirates is that they maybe watching 2 1/2 Pirates of the Caribbean movies. OK, so what did pirates do? (Mostly Golden Age of Pirates in the Caribbean, but other pirates as well). 1) They tried to capture ships intact. 2) The ships they mostly attack merchant shipping. 3) They would raid and loot towns and villages. 4) Pirates were hunted by organized militaries (or by privateers with letters of marque). What DIDN'T Pirates do? 1) They rarely fought other pirates. (Though privateers did often clash in times of war, but even then Merchants were the main target). 2) They didn't fight mythical monsters. 3) They almost never looted other pirate bases. 4) They didn't spent most of their time fighting the undead. 5) They almost never found buried treasure. Hmmm, looks like Atlas is 0-for-4 on actual piracy and 5-for-5 on actual non-piracy. So what does Atlas lack? It lacks merchant shipping (NPC merchant shipping and as all players are supposedly pirates, then it lacks player merchant shipping too). It lacks a place to sell stolen goods. It lacks NPC villages/towns to loot (and as all players are supposedly pirates, then all bases are pirate bases, meaning no player towns). There are also no NPC pirate hunters and as all players are supposedly pirates, there are no militaries, no sovereign entities and no way to be a privateer. It lacks the ability for players to be anything but pirates (sure, you can ROLEPLAY whatever you want, but everyone is the same as game mechanics go). (It's like none of the game devs watch any pirate documentaries and never player games like Sid Meier's Pirates! or Uncharted Waters).
