    Treasure isn't hard to find with the map, you have a massive beam of light marking it. It's not helpful making them invisible to people. I have been in my spot since the last wipe but today i've logged in to find tames dead because someone spawned a treasure map inside my base which I didn't even know was there... and as I was offline I still don't know where exactly the spawn is so what can I do about it.. Mark them or something. Like a scattered pirate corpses or a pile of skeleton bones on the floor. That way we know there is a spawn and we wont build on it. Or even better put a no build radius around them so you physically cant... There's no reason not to... You may get idiots building around them and holding them to ransom but that's easily dealt with by admin via griefing etc. Its frustrating.

    Guys I think farmhouses are just the best thing to add to the game. So i made this post of AWESOME ideas just like farmhouse that you can add to make the game ever better!!! 1. Make Materials weightless. Now that materials are essentially free like minecraft creative mode (i love Minecraft creative mode so much, who wants all that survival-adventure stuff!) it is so tedious to have to only carry a little bit! Make materials weightless so we don't need tames anymore for anything and we can just carry tens of thousands of pillars to spam everything. Even better maybe give us a levitate button so it's easier to place the walls 10+ spaces high! Something like the wingsuit but you could fly upwards. 2. Shipyards just automatically build ships for you even without materials. How cool would that be!!!! You could just put the shipyard down and AFK like you do with the windmill! Like not even have to play the game! Just come back and boom you have a ship. 3. Banks just passively generate gold! OmG This would be the best! You guys want to remove "landlubber activites" altogether right? So you can just put passive gold income on the bank! That way i can just play the game AFK!!!! 4. Grills autocraft good foods. God who wants to go around collecting stuff? I can never find anything! Just make the grills create food for you! You just put one down and come back later and bon apetite! Cause I just hate all this survival type stuff! Nobody wants to worry about eating and collecting things or building, just have it autocraft into our inventories. This would be the best. You could then pull in all of the audiences from other games that are too hard! Like people playing minecraft might come to play Atlas, because they wouldn't have to worry about chopping trees or anything. They can just not play the game ever and then do whatever they want just like in minecraft creative mode. This would just be the best guys. Absolutely the best direction Atlas has ever been taken I hope it continues.

    If they go to the rust model, they lose one of the best features of Ark and Atlas. Asset buy in... When you spend time building, taming, breeding, and farming bps you become attached to what you have... You want to keep it and defend it. In rust nothing matters you can get to 'endgame' in days. You can get 'endgame items' in days. Some servers wipe weekly because its doable. There's no real drive to own anything in the game because it can all be remade in hours/days. In Ark/atlas bases take weeks to build, breed lines take weeks/months to perfect. Leveling ships/tames, takes time and energy. Farming exo and regular resources takes time. All of this leads to an attachment for what you have, a desire to maintain it and defend it. Regular wipes leads to the mentality of 'ah shit we didn't get a good start this wipe, let's just take a break and start next wipe.' Some people love the idea obviously but other like myself consider it a deal breaker and I would not continue playing if they went to a regular wipe model.

    The current state on island claims on the PVE server is out of control. 1. Companies get way too many company points now to spend on islands, when I played previous and had only 6 to 7 members we could only claim a small like 32-35pt island off of A13, we had something like 43 company points total. Now we have 10 members and we've got over 100 company points. Enough to own a couple of decent size islands or 4-6 15-20pt islands. 2. Upkeep on islands is insanely cheap now, most islands pay for themselves or close to it. Which means they hardly ever come on the market, and when they do - they are swarmed. 3. On server wipe for PVE there should of been a cooldown inbetween island claims ,24-48hrs before you can claim another island. This would of prevented the insane land grab the first hours the server was re-opened after wipe. 4. So many grids that have 1 island only, or just 2 tiny islands. I understand the trench zones maybe, even though several of those also have 2-3 islands in them but there are so many that have literally 1 island only which makes that grid boring too and limits global interaction. All zones with only 1 island - J1,K6,B9,K10,H11,K11. All zones with 2 tiny islands - C1,K4,A5,A8,B8,B9,A9,F10,A11,B11,E11. 5. PVE needs to have a limit on island claims, I don't really care how big your company is you don't need 6 islands. My company has 10 people and I could claim 6 of the smallest islands too, or a couple of decent size ones and that is too much, especially when lawless zones are overflowing and rage quitting over lag and max tame limits. So many poorly designed grids, with tiny islands or 1 island only in it and too many greedy companies with too many company pts to spend with no limits. Allies of ours were able to claim a 57pt island with just 2 members in their company the day servers came up after wipe. I just don't understand how that is even possible. Good for them but really? Is the goal for the devs just to wait for companies to quit game because getting an island to call their own is next to impossible and they can't tolerate living ontop of each other anymore in lawless with insane ping and tames maxed? While greedy companies have multiple island claims for use or for sale to the highest bidder?

    @George Catcher We are still selling giraffes and eles like hotcakes. Bears have slowed a little but thats bc it seems everyone is doing thier own breeding. There also seems to be a ton of folks doing maps (where else do people get massive amounts of gold?) As to my 1000000 peice base... wouldnt need that if I had a some bigger peices (ie 2x2, single tile or a 3x3 single tile..) or a premade dock (slighty bigger than a large shipyard, that can snap ceilings to..).. a dock setup along would remove 300-500 pieces... @Cpt.Yarrr I dont think weve gone 540 degrees yet... the farmhouse is nice and all, but when you want that galley your either waiting a few days or out there farming up mats... Even from an early game meta, the only thing changed thus far would be a rush to fsrmhouse instead of a rush to tame. I really dont think thats a bad move... eventually youll still get an ele and giraffe or two, its just a lower priority. Honestly i think the ship changes (whenever they come) will be the indication if they are going the right or wrong direction.

    Wouldnt suprise me for a second if this is the last season. The entire game has changed over 540 degrees in the last year, devteams use these new feats as a prestigeproject and all known bugs since release are not even close by being fixed. The difference between PvE and PvP is, well, none. Balance is completely lost as well and players running away very fast now they know all they worked for will be gone in a few months. If the new devteam (or the layers above that paygrade) really wanted to make a difference and stand out above the previous team(s), they shouldve bring weekly patches to show they are fixing all known (or at least TRY!!) bugs. I'm loving alot of aspects, but it's crazy to work around some bugs and still try to have fun.

    To make them even better they should change K mode to be a full gods eye view and then you can zoom in and check on your warehouse and farms without ever having to go there. This would increase performance because all the world detail can be removed. OMG I got knocked off my bear by a lion. No need for that BS just because I was just checking on my windmills.

    My bet is they have multiple grid are interfering on the same physical server. Just like less grids saves money. More grids per server saves money.

    I doubt you will even read or seriously consider the idea I have been thinking about for map changes that could really boost the games overall playable nature for a lot of players. The central part of the map is almost perfect in all reality, The outer grid and freeports however could use some modification imo & below are the changes I propose. Grid layout - 3x3 grid layout around the central ring of "Lawless & Golden Age" With the map in it's current state, this configuration could easily be integrated without any major issues & promote lots of travel and pvp & can fit this block chain setup around the outer part of the map how it is currently moving the current freeports slightly. ( A1 - Claimable, B1 - Lawless, C1 - Claimable ) (A2 - Lawless, B2 - Freeport, C2 - Lawless) (A3 - Claimable, B3 - Lawless, C3 - Claimable ) *****All lawless island surrounding the freeports should have resources to make cannons and cannon balls, which will encourage rapid sailing and pvp. Central lawless providing "nodes that provide higher yields". ***Reduce the cost of, Basic learned common "Non-Blueprint" ship planks, while leaving the blueprint crafts as is costing more resources & multiple types, which will help players get on the water faster and feel like they are not wasting an immense amount of time on losing ships while parked, etc. Let's be honest we all want LOTS of people to be playing this game & I personally feel as though these changes are exactly "SOME" of the things that could really elevate this game to the next level of game-play, Outside of a rewrite in "Unreal 5 engine, Fantasy upgrade... Drools. :oP** " ( More people playing = More money in sales for the company, More people sailing around everywhere fighting all the time making the game a ton more fun.) *****The freeports need a total overhaul in reality, Starting with the harbor master being able to store ships, A stacking "Bank - ship resource box" & adding a marketplace that you can post items for sale worldwide Making items available & "Visible " in all freeports across the map for sale/trade, But would need to be picked up at the freeport of sale, However other players could pick-up the items and transport as "Courier missions" for a fee, but would have to pay the collateral gold costs of the item that is being sold. I also feel as though the schooner should use small planks and sloops should get a new tiny plank instead, setting the ships into categories of their own. I have a ton of other ideas about much needed changes, But I am not going to drag this letter out any further than I already am, Unless I am contacted back to discuss possible changes.     I heard some ppl have been having this prb for a week! This needs to be addressed!. To not fix prbs on serverss is not a nice way to phase out pve server play! We alrdy know from earlier post that the eu server is the pve server for now. We have also seen that they are going to change out pve with something else! This is not the way to do it! Be more open answer forum posts, inform us what is going on. THere are many players that dont want to play pvp at all, so u will loose a lot of players if u do this, expecially if u do it this way. Lack of info is interpeted by us players as worst case scenarios is happenign! hence it is smart to inform. ANd what type of programming do u guys do ? implementing new stuff b4 fixing server issues ? Look i am alrdy asuming u do this , coz mainly u dont care to inform! I hope i am wrong and u do try to adress issues and working u ass off trying to figure out why 1 or more of your servers are failing. U need to adress battleye aswell maybe. But i think the servers one ore more are so slow that battleeye thinks u lost connection and therefore kicks u. Can u atleast change this option in battleeye so we atleast can play some ? I surtanly hope u will fix this issue now, or u loose half ur player base. Hey from: Lazsa Heltanus, soon to sign off if not corrected.

    This game is almost unplayable with being lagged out to the dashboard every few steps. All I want to do is build a good ship, just a few simple things on land. But every island I go to is the same. Why don't they just open up the na pve servers again. It would solve alot of problems. Land owners won't let you settle there and lawless are all so overcrowded.

    Can we have auto builders too, which will automatically put down massive monolithic structures covering the whole island, increasing their height until the server eventually just lags out? That way i could spend more time looking after my bear cubs every 17.25 seconds for the next 498 hours at end.

    Also the higher tier a BP is, the less types are needed sounds way better to me. It was hard to get the BP, why the crafting isnt easy then? Maybe there could be a structure slowly crafting bps without any materials, super slow but just out of thin air?

    Sorry I forgot, I'm pure PvE. With ARKlogic I meant this company/or that company (just how you put it) has no logical follow ups ingame. Example; buildbug. Since the first day (or later called season 1) it is here. 3 Wipes later, still here. In the meantime we get, let's say, farmhouses. Why is this not fixed up till now? Another example; "Demolition allowed" 9 out of 10 times it is not working. But taking down XP from Kraken/Yeti EVEN IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE one is taken off. Perhaps it should be 1 time only for each player? Ok, just one more example then; Taming elephants and giraffes. Really, do they have to jump this high when bolad/knocked out/trapped? Or better yet, we build farmhouses now so we do not need those tames. Instead, we're going to get warehouses. Wich, after everyone has placed tons of those, probably not gonna fit. I can give you literally about 40 of these. This is what I mean with ARKlogic, don't fix bugs but create them. Don't fix lag, but double up on them. Me and loads of other "old" founding players (again PvE) of this game, have these thoughts since the first wipe was anounced. And here comes another example; There was not a single word of wipes up to that moment. 10 Minutes after the anouncement the playerbase dropped over 70%. There was never EVER a moment those 40K players expected a wipe. Now it's like; "Oh they gonna wipe anyway, why should I even bother buying." And this is next to the fact GS keeps on saying they will fix bugs "next season" wich is now a total disbelieve. And yet they promis a new map. With no changes, just shrinkage. NA and EU together, whoever came up with that idea should be keelhauled. The servers/grids should be doubled at least, if not tripled. Not all resources are there, treasures are still at ridiculous places (players can even build on them, however ARK has the lootdrop locations made unbuildable) More sailing? Yet 1 storm with cyclones can easily destroy planks of a common brig and let it sink. As a pirate who's steering at that time you better pray on your nekked knees there will not be 1 (or better yet 2 or 3) SOTD squads turning up POOF 10 feet in front of your ship and byebye boat. More damage, so dock boat and repair. Iow, no more sailing. Make storms heavy on the wind, make them longer but certainly not as destructive as is now. We do not care about the wipes, we care about the same old bugs wich keep on getting back. They suck. Fix. The. Game. Or does every new devteam needs to make a prestigeproject first?

    They don't need regular wipes to make pvp fun, they just need shifting objectives and to add stuff that keeps targets moving. So that it isn't static

    why are you guys killing the material trade market? you say you want more player interaction? or is that only for combat on PvP? you add things i have yet to hear anyone ask for but wont fix the bugs and other issues like optimization that pretty much everyone is screaming for ( the lawless zones are laggy AF by the way), here's an idea fix whats not working properly now THEN add things, same goes for the taming, why make it harder to tame large animals like elephants and giraffes? was that so ppl would look at farms more favorably to use the farms, which by the way should have the option to select what you want harvested ( like materials or consumables) as they stop when at a total weight, also as Black Beard said you should have limited the farms to 1 per company per island that would have the side effect of exploration (which you say you want and player interaction which you also say you want) side note, comparing this game to WoW? really? that's a bold claim, this is and will always be a re-skinned "ARK with ships" don't get me wrong this isn't a dig at the game, i get why you re-used and re-skinned assets from a you have already spent money on to develop but if you had built upon and improved that then this would and could have be so much better, minor example riding a bear at full sprint to only come to a abrupt halt due to a pebble? not being able to walk/run up 20-30 degree angle in some spot yet move 2 steps over and you can go up a 40 degree angle??

    Is anyone losing animals during sailing due to this? I wouldn't know since I am afraid to sail which is stupid since that is what the game is based on but I don't want to lose my bears.

    It really seams like the lawless regions are far worse for lag then the owned islands. I'm based in H2 and there and the squares around it have little to no lag. Went resource hunting at the weekend and just about every single lawless grid I went into had lots of lag leading to lots of rubber-banding. Would hate to live in one of those grids.

    I went on this morning to do some metal runs from another island, took ship out and the sails are moving backwards and forwards with lag. I go so far out and said na not bothering, turned back and shut the game down. Until it is fixed I will leave it for now, I can't play with lag like that, reaction time from hitting buttons is crazy.

    The server C7 is also not playable, ping is 150-180. Ship control at sea is almost impossible. The worst is on the island of Rimounear Enclave, where the company The FB Pyramide! build this monster pyramid. They also make fun of it because all the other players scold. This has been going on for a week now and the Atlas team is unable to prevent this or get the problem under control. I've been playing Atlas since January 2019, but if it continues like this Atlas is uninstalled and I look for another game.

    Well i escaped my faulty grid that is H8. i put all my gear in a box on ship, went out and died on purpose. then instead of choosing bed to respawn i respaned freeport. made myself a ship and some basic stuff. Sailed ship to another grid and anchored. then i fast traveld from this sloop to one of my other beds in H8. and voila it works. IT will acording to other ppl that did the same, only prolong ur playing time ppl have had noi issues for hours but sometimes not that long, but atleasst it prolongs ur playing time maybe enough to get one of your bigger ships out of grid and relocate and move entirly if u dont like it. Well its upo to you i am gonna make more bases aswell, but i will only build what i need. No huge stuff. Huge stuff may break server or contribute to. Important notice, dont log in or out in faulty grid. b4 u log put all your inventory in a box, fast travel out of grid to your sloop that u buildt in freeport, then log off. And ofc do not anchor sloop in freeport over night, but most of you ppl know what happens then. Well i hope u guys try to do the same, and keep in there plz Lazsa
