In H8 my company get this most of the time. Our solution is: log in and even if you cannot interact with anything try to kill yourself somehow. Here are a few example. If trapped in a house, box in the air until you die. If you are outside, jump iin the water and drown. After you die, you will get a game crash. You can log back now. BUT you will get a black death screen. In there you need to change the home region to a different sector (anything works just not the one where you died). If you changed the home region and spawned kill yourself again. Now you can safely spawn back to your original sector. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS: NEVER LOG OUT, AND DONT RELOG IN THE SECTOR WHERE YOU GET THE BATTLEYE ERROR. ALWAYS TP OUT FROM THE SECTOR BEFORE YOU LOG OUT. You can sail in or tp in the faulty sector and you will be fine you can do anything, just do not disconnect there thats the key. I hope this helps to you and anybody else who got this error, this helped my company since the last week when we received this error in the very first time. Shame on you Grapeshotnot fixing these errors and leaving the players struggling in the dark without any help from YOU. Pull out your head from the sand, grow some tiny balls and help your players if they got problems caused by YOU. Greetings to all from a fellow battleye victim

Less people are playing because it’s not even playable in some regions of PVE. We went to H5 because I wanted to see it and I almost didn’t make it out. The Monster Of The Blue Lag-goon is the best boss yet. You can defeat him with a fast PC and low ping but he’s always there.

Naw in Ark you can build on the raft, you cannot do that in Atlas. So it is clearly different!

Guys I think farmhouses are just the best thing to add to the game. So i made this post of AWESOME ideas just like farmhouse that you can add to make the game ever better!!! 1. Make Materials weightless. Now that materials are essentially free like minecraft creative mode (i love Minecraft creative mode so much, who wants all that survival-adventure stuff!) it is so tedious to have to only carry a little bit! Make materials weightless so we don't need tames anymore for anything and we can just carry tens of thousands of pillars to spam everything. Even better maybe give us a levitate button so it's easier to place the walls 10+ spaces high! Something like the wingsuit but you could fly upwards. 2. Shipyards just automatically build ships for you even without materials. How cool would that be!!!! You could just put the shipyard down and AFK like you do with the windmill! Like not even have to play the game! Just come back and boom you have a ship. 3. Banks just passively generate gold! OmG This would be the best! You guys want to remove "landlubber activites" altogether right? So you can just put passive gold income on the bank! That way i can just play the game AFK!!!! 4. Grills autocraft good foods. God who wants to go around collecting stuff? I can never find anything! Just make the grills create food for you! You just put one down and come back later and bon apetite! Cause I just hate all this survival type stuff! Nobody wants to worry about eating and collecting things or building, just have it autocraft into our inventories. This would be the best. You could then pull in all of the audiences from other games that are too hard! Like people playing minecraft might come to play Atlas, because they wouldn't have to worry about chopping trees or anything. They can just not play the game ever and then do whatever they want just like in minecraft creative mode. This would just be the best guys. Absolutely the best direction Atlas has ever been taken I hope it continues.

I really hate to be the one to tell you this. But, if you don't want a pirate simulator you don't want Atlas. With the exception of the living dead, immortality, and instant domestication; Atlas is a fairly realistic game regarding the age of sail. Everything a player does is to support their colony/empire or to support a personal plantation. If your goal as a singular pirate is to own a farm and livestock; that's as realistic as it can get. Tames and riding are not going to be removed entirely. They just wont be the sole focus of the game or reason to complete content as they have been in previous seasons. While this does cause some disruptions economy side on PvE; it doesn't stop you from doing things just do to them..... simply because they are fun.

WHO COULD HAVE FORESEEN THIS COMING!? If only the devs said ahead of time that they are taking focus off grinding and tames a little over a year ago!

While I was reading the forums I've been thinking. Maybe DEVs should consider to open one more server. - There wont be any damned ships. - No alphas on islands. - No cannons or gunports available. - No treasure maps with damned armies. - Current "the Sims" building style. And just a lot of islands with bears and elephants so everyone who just wanna build their grand palaces and then breeding bears, go there, do their buildings, pyramids, towers, castles, palaces, and breed bears for selling em to eachother, and don't destroy game experience for anyone who wanna play sailing game?

regular wipes in pvp is not a bad idea. but on the pve side most people play it so they dont lose all their stuff and progress. they stopped playing pvp for a reason and switched to pve. if pve starts to give the same results as pvp i think people may switch to a new game since they are all out of modes to try to enjoy atlas with

If they go to the rust model, they lose one of the best features of Ark and Atlas. Asset buy in... When you spend time building, taming, breeding, and farming bps you become attached to what you have... You want to keep it and defend it. In rust nothing matters you can get to 'endgame' in days. You can get 'endgame items' in days. Some servers wipe weekly because its doable. There's no real drive to own anything in the game because it can all be remade in hours/days. In Ark/atlas bases take weeks to build, breed lines take weeks/months to perfect. Leveling ships/tames, takes time and energy. Farming exo and regular resources takes time. All of this leads to an attachment for what you have, a desire to maintain it and defend it. Regular wipes leads to the mentality of 'ah shit we didn't get a good start this wipe, let's just take a break and start next wipe.' Some people love the idea obviously but other like myself consider it a deal breaker and I would not continue playing if they went to a regular wipe model.

Simple UI fix for ship boxes and warehouse, with inventory a single click gets one, while t gets the stack which is useless for the infinite stack in these. Change the ship boxes and warehouse that a single click gets a stack in your inventory. Because why would you go to the warehouse just to get one item, you usually want just a stack to make something.

This is inspiring. >.> Our company makes small buildings a little distance apart. Basic, but practical. Kitchen house for filling bellies, a library to store the majority of crappy blueprints we'll never use, breeding pen, tamed pen, a few tamed on neutral outside to beat on any hostile spawns, docks built a distance away to park our ships, and of course the main workshop. If he can build it, it's allowed, whether people like it or not.

When we first settled, we built our warehouse. This was the biggest 3x5 house in our base, because we had to put a lot of storage boxes inside, to keep all we gathered from around the world. Later on - storage boxes were extended. Later on - we changed them to ship supply boxes because there all resources go to a single stack no matter if there 500 or 20000 metal. So now... well we'll have our warehouse. If it can contain hell a lot of resources any type within unlimited stacks, and if there is a way to sort all by folders, then... well. I will simply replace this one: With new one. And THATS the right step to "prefab optimizes buildings", I personally hope (and I know - most of players don't like the idea) that one day all "Minecraft" will be canceled and we all come to all prefab bases and only custom will left is piers and walls infrastructure. P.S. - as because we have unlimited stacks - it's difficult to pick certain amount of resources. So... we need some feature allows us to choice - how much resources we wanna take. P.P.S. - oh and one more thing. I would like to be able to enter to prefabs. Let there be a simple cosmetics inside but shadow in hot zones and warmth in cold ones.

I have some things to ask you guys. 1: Why does it feels like you don't want people to get to max level? This is the first game i have ever played where it feels like you are doing anything in your power to make noone ever get max level. S1 a few was max level, S2 a few was max level, S3 some found the lever bug and got 120, S4 more bugs are found and you start wiping cause you dont want people to be max level. I understand that people should not be max level that fast, but doing 1000's of maps to get max level??? Who wanna do that? 2: PLEASE make reversing go just a little faster. Reverse parking my galleon makes me wanna kill myself. 3: Give all grids their own server like S1.. Every grid where there are 2 company's building harbor and defences = LAGGY shit... 4: A lot in this games takes VERY LONG time. You lose a lot of players because they dont have time. Not everyone have a lot of time to spare, and can only log in for like 1-2 hours every second day. But if you wanna do anything other than farm it take agaes. Just sailing 3 grids, doing 4 maps, sailing 1 grid, doing 2 maps and sailing back = players that can play only a few hours wont be able to do it without having to park their ship, gold, BP's a random place and hope its not gone when they come back. Parking it at freeport wont work either if they can't log in before the next day. Or how would a casual player ever breath a horse? I know some things should take time, and some should not be easy.. But have you thougt about how many players you are loosing because you need to play this gave for MANY hours each week to not get hopeless behind. 4: Give the option to log a ship out in freeport, transfere it off the server. Make it cost like 5K gold, 10K gold or whatever price feels right. People wont need to build masive harbors, wich makes server lag, and ther eare not 20 gally with crew and stuff draining resources from the server either. 5: Build a better trade station thing. Make one that dont have to be on the freeport. Make let people use the bank or something for it. Make it cost some more to use it, like 1 gold for each 100 things that gets traded and make a fixed valve. Like 1:1 only or gold. 11.000 x-wood for 10.000 x-fiber - Cost 110 gold in fee to make the trade. 250.000 softwood for 5.000 gold - Cost 2500 gold in fee to make the trade. 6: Make Weight sails and Speed sails Go up and down just as fast as Handling sails. 7: Do something about the RNG of treasure maps. First you need to actually find a good treasure map, the you need to go and hopefully be able to do the treasure map (hope that its not on a enemy island, defended with puckles, spam build on the island and what ever) and then hope that its not a myth fishing net or some crap that you get. Its like 1 in 200 maps you collect that is actually decent end game BP. And change people being able to block map spawns with small shipyard and other stuff. Just a few thoughts from me.

Limit farmhouse to one per company..the damn things covers the islands and get unattended..and imo cause ton of lag. One company shouldn't have 10 or 15 farms on an island

I don't mind the Farmhouse and won't mind the Warehouse. But please give us the ability to build it ourselves with customization, just like we can add stuff to our ships!

I would like to add - I was really REALLY stupid to involve myself into battle against damned squad on one of the glitchy server (it was at G4 PvE). My advise to everyone. Don't do that. EVER! I almost lost my lvl-42 Brig. I'm sailing home now with planks instead of gunports. And you know - I pretty experienced SotDs fighter I've got down like hundred of them this season. With lvl-60 Galley for quest. There are 3 issues fighting them in glitchy server: 1) - Because of glitches no one clearing the area so if you go fight against a single Galley, after a minute you may find yourself fighting against 10 or 15 damned ship at once. 2) - Because of glitches you loosing about 30-50% of your speed. My brig usually do 10 knots downwind when it's calm. On glitchy server I could barelly do 5 in the battle. 3) - You can not turn your sails (they waving, flapping and dancing). And because your ship do jerky movement, within stops periods it doesn't turn and speed up/down. With this stalled control, slow speed you just easy target for damned ships. Usually I'm like dancing with damned ships. But this time I was like and old knot, slowly passing by. Their Galley just turned around and released for about 10 volleys to me, until I managed to get out of his range. And yeah, most of volley even didn't showed to me. I just saw damage numbers without any damned cannonballs. I've got 10 planks gone, and I've got only 9 extra so I thought I was about to loose yet another ship. Thx Gods I had 450 wood in my grile. So... ...damn! Never again! Just NEVER. There are golden ages without any structures and crowds - let them be a place for hunting.

You know what I've noticed recently? Most of players in PvE are actually play this way. They do not seek adventures. They do not preparing and involve themself to endgame content. They don't build and level ships for seas battles. Do not craft a stuff for high level maps. They do not do the quests. They just play "Sims" and "Happy farm". They do building (alot) and then taming/breeding. Then selling tames to eachother so they could do their buildings more efficient way. Play this way for a while. Then drop the game! So this Pharaoh guy it the great example of what players do in PvE. I mean not all players, but there are ALOT of them. Most of them! And... well IMAO, devs really should do something with that. I mean If they wanna give us the PIRATE game... (I mean I'm not judging, everyone find their way to play but... we've already got ARK for breeding, sims for building! And yet don't have any pirate MMO except SoT which I don't like the concept. And if DEVs continue to improve tames and building aspect of the game instead of sailing, we just wont have any pirate MMO we promised). p.s. - Spent some time today at this C7. Funny bug - the server can not handle it and it's still daylight at 22:00 (10pm). After that it's switching to the night within like 0.1 sec lol. p.p.s. - I don't know why so many players cover theirs shorelines with foundation spam! But they make bottles unavailable. And these time it's SO DIFFICULT to find purple bottles. Last time I found one after I make circles around 25 islands! And I saw like 5 purple bottles under foundations. Thanks alot. I hope those foundations serve you well.

I really need thatch and wood and fiber but find myself unable to place a farmhouse that only gathers that, even very carefully picking out a sandy spot with nothing but palms and ferns and trees, no rocks no bushes no berries. I come back and find it stopped because of metal, flint, stone. If it is not possible to actually limit the harvest to the area because it uses an island spawn table, at least let us drop the stuff we do not want into a spam folder so it stops picking it up. I can pave the island with stone blocks at this rate! Also can the farmhouse actually clear the harvested circle so that you can see its radius for placing the nearby one? And do they really need to be free - all you need is a wood or thatch to start the fire? At least station a sailor there and let them glean what they eat and pay the same wage you would if they was near the crew silo. But then that would require crew that could actually be useful for defending themselves rather than being nerfed to the ground, such that a fresh freeport crew cannot even punch or spear a lvl1 chicken.
