    I doubt you will even read or seriously consider the idea I have been thinking about for map changes that could really boost the games overall playable nature for a lot of players. The central part of the map is almost perfect in all reality, The outer grid and freeports however could use some modification imo & below are the changes I propose. Grid layout - 3x3 grid layout around the central ring of "Lawless & Golden Age" With the map in it's current state, this configuration could easily be integrated without any major issues & promote lots of travel and pvp & can fit this block chain setup around the outer part of the map how it is currently moving the current freeports slightly. ( A1 - Claimable, B1 - Lawless, C1 - Claimable ) (A2 - Lawless, B2 - Freeport, C2 - Lawless) (A3 - Claimable, B3 - Lawless, C3 - Claimable ) *****All lawless island surrounding the freeports should have resources to make cannons and cannon balls, which will encourage rapid sailing and pvp. Central lawless providing "nodes that provide higher yields". ***Reduce the cost of, Basic learned common "Non-Blueprint" ship planks, while leaving the blueprint crafts as is costing more resources & multiple types, which will help players get on the water faster and feel like they are not wasting an immense amount of time on losing ships while parked, etc. Let's be honest we all want LOTS of people to be playing this game & I personally feel as though these changes are exactly "SOME" of the things that could really elevate this game to the next level of game-play, Outside of a rewrite in "Unreal 5 engine, Fantasy upgrade... Drools. :oP** " ( More people playing = More money in sales for the company, More people sailing around everywhere fighting all the time making the game a ton more fun.) *****The freeports need a total overhaul in reality, Starting with the harbor master being able to store ships, A stacking "Bank - ship resource box" & adding a marketplace that you can post items for sale worldwide Making items available & "Visible " in all freeports across the map for sale/trade, But would need to be picked up at the freeport of sale, However other players could pick-up the items and transport as "Courier missions" for a fee, but would have to pay the collateral gold costs of the item that is being sold. I also feel as though the schooner should use small planks and sloops should get a new tiny plank instead, setting the ships into categories of their own. I have a ton of other ideas about much needed changes, But I am not going to drag this letter out any further than I already am, Unless I am contacted back to discuss possible changes.     Don't kid yourself, there will never be an official retail release of Atlas. It's been nearly two years since "early access" started, and 95% of the major bugs at launch still exist. Atlas is what it is.

    Yep, they are angy buts its not a suprise. At least in PVE servers. Sailing in this season is very annoying and battling is almost impossible with these constant rubberbanding and 1-2 sec rollbacks in almost every PVE grid, so - if no must to go anywhere - everyone stays on lands. But, the beachs are blocked with bunch of ramshacke sloops, the islands are full of taming pens/billboards with 20-30 days of decays and foundation+bed combos or with thatch tri-foundation spams, so this lag/rubberbanding is getting worse day by day. Of course the players are angry, in s1, s2 or s3 the situation wasnt so bad, we had lag only in very few grids, not in the whole map.

    I agree. People are way more angry and territorial this time around at least in PVE. Season 5 is coming soon I hope.

    To clarify my complaint, I have no problem with the 9-10 day timer. It is the 30 day timer for the stuff that is found in EVERY base. That is the problem. Everything should be on the same schedule. If your base decays in 9-10 days but the stuff in it doesn't decay for 30 days, it would seem to defeat the purpose of having a shorter time decay period. I don't really see the point of having two different times. You are still forced to wait the 30 days for the space to become usable.

    42 - Servers getting worse everyday. There wont be any picture here. But I need to write about it. With more people joining official, and more ppl go to settle - lag/ping are getting worse! It's not just "somehow worse" it's a big major worse. Like my PvE I7. It was fine in the beginning. With more bases around some small ping up spikes start to occurs every 10 seconds. Now my island very populated. I've got couple monstrous bases with very complex and creative creations. Another island is probably the same. So now my server just stops for 2 seconds every 10 seconds. If I run somewhere during this stop period, I then warp back to where I was before stops. So seriously guys. You need to solve this one. It's your first priority. Not new content. Not a balance corrections. It's your technical core you need to deal with. Without it - anything else is just pointless. p.s. - You introduced farmhouses. So those are: - More buildings around islands. - With auto resources gathering - more complex monstrous bases around. It turned out last patch just made ping/lags dramatically worse in couple days.
