I enjoy sea battles so much but with current ship render distance and low population its almost impossible to meet any ships. The map is too big to have such low render distance, you have to be so close to see someones ship. Out of 15 hours of sailing last couple of days we met maybe 3 ships. It's hard to keep people interested when they sail for hours and cant find anybody to fight with. This probably wouldnt be an issue if servers had 100+ players per server but rn sailin is so time consuming with almost no reward. I know u devs follow darksideRP closely and their mod that sees ships from so far away made that server 5x better with almost no performance cost.

In-game, the sextant minigame buff shows you where randomly generated shipwrecks are within a certain radius of your ship. However, after crossing a server line, the indicated locations of these shipwrecks becomes inaccurate. and This happens everywhere. In all servers. The mini-map and the Atlas map show shipwrecks, but none of them are there. and The shipwrecks you randomly find on your own out on the water do not appear on your map. Long story short, after leaving the server you obtained the sextant buff to see shipwrecks, it becomes null and void. This either needs to be fixed, or have players lose their sextant buff when they cross server lines, forcing them to use the sextant to get the buff again for the current server they're in.

Those are my Personal Most hated things i'd like to See changed this year. 1. the disappearing ceiling bug - this one feels like death watching over your shoulder everytime you build something Big. 2.the ladder bug - Nothing more annoying than claiming high Level Crew And get stuck on a ladder while watching your crew get eaten by sharks while thinking if you should just Stay on the ladder to Dont Share the same Fate. 3. the anchoring - guess Most if Not all had this beautiful bug. You get close to an Island And back up your gally for 3000 hours just to notice that even tho your backplanks got destroyed by a Sandbank And there isnt even Space for a Karl lagerfeld Model between your ship And the Island, yet you cant anchor. 4. fast travelling - guess this happens atleast once a day. You wanna do one Last thing before FT to imprint your tames or Doing a map And then you get 2 Million greenscreens before you are able to get to your destination while thinking that sailing there might have been faster in the First Place. 5. the Kraken - while this might be something personal After Hosting it twice a week for over 7 month now, there is Nothing More Time consuming than waiting for some Trolls to finish their kraken just to Hope You summon the right kraken Without having half of ships beeing Stuck in the wall or locked out.

I'm mostly happy with exactly how Atlas is now. They need to add quest NPC's and some lore to add the atmosphere of a living world. Also increase the rewards for sea based activities. Base building and collecting treasure maps and doing AOD is way more productive that going out hunting whales and SOD. Especially in terms of player xp. I don't want the rewards of AOD nerfed. Just give more for the ones at sea. Add safe places to leave your ships at sea if that's what your into. I do think a Galleon with defenses should be able to be left at sea. The game doesn't have to be 1000+ hr game to complete. I've 95hr odd in Jurassic World Evolution and pretty much done everything and are totally happy with that purchase.

You get so used to some bugs, it's actualy surprising to see a bug report about them. Good on you, for bring this one back to the fore.

Yup, they have introduced a dissconnection between weather, sea animation & ship animation. This weekend I've sailed: In rain storms with calm seas and low windspeed. On calm waters with the ship bobing and swaying as if in rough waters. And in one region the ship actualy sailed as if it was on the water it looked to be on. It wouldn't be so bad but for the eye wrenching screen bob when the ship gets too far from the visible water line and snaps back and forth for a second or two. This crap is new to me, no idea when or how it started.

You're having some valid points, and I can't say you're wrong in what you're trying to express. HOWEVER, if you look at the roadmap, they are trying to reduce the time spent with tames and time spent at land, and increase the time spent at sea. This means, of course, that some mechanics MUST change, otherwise they'll end up exactly with what you have described already (need tames for resources, thus need base, ...), but I dont think/hope thats the idea. And note that the roadmap does not suggest cutting down land gameplay to zero, its still at around 1/5. In general I like the idea that the gameplay gets more focused on time spent on sea, because this is what this game is about. Its NOT ark. Its not about taming a plethora of dinosours, breed them and afterwards tame more. Its a pirate game, you're supposed to be at sea most of the time, with your ship, crew & loaded guns. Yes IT IS based on ark (technically, like the game engine), but this does not mean that it should have the same gameplay.

I think there should be a saddle for the female cow, or be able to ride it at least. It would make it easier to get the female cows where you actually want them with a saddle or some sort of ability to ride them. Kind of like the sheep your able to just jump on and ride it. Thanks

That would make moving them where you want a lot easier..

Click on Atlas tab in inventory, select voyage of power quest. Then check all Golden Age ruins regions on map, all the stones you have will have color on map and the stone you are missing will be black. Same for the essence but you'll have to select journey of the gods quest for that.

This is a new game. Do you literally know nothing about game development? Do you not realize that when somebody leases a game engine, such as CryEngine3, which was the engine made for Crysis 3, that you are actually buying assets in that engine that can be used by you to make your "new" game? For instance, often when people made "new" games with the Half Life 2 engine, you could see, and hear the similarities. I was playing a game once, and knew right away that it was made using the half life 2 engine because I recognized many of the sounds. They were literally unchanged. Often, game makers will do that. Use assets in the engine to make the new game. Often, the new engine uses assets from the old engine. Was Assassin's Creed 2 not a new game, when it released well after Assassin's Creed? Yes, it was. And it used many of the assets from the original game. This is how business gets done. You don't reinvent the wheel, when it doesn't need to be reinvented. It's called being smart. If you make a car, such as a Sedan, is it not a new car design, when you make a new car that looks totally different, and is a sports car, and uses many of the same parts, but they changed everything that needed to be changed, to make it a sports car, such as stronger brakes, parts for the engine to give it more horsepower, sportier seats, etc... Is it not a new car design, just because the engine block is the same, and the wipers are the same, and the transmission is the same, with some modifications, etc? I mean, you do know that car manufacturers do use a lot of the same parts in many of their designs, right? And this saves us money...you do know that, right?

Some of us have to work weekends. Doctors, nurses, cops, firefighters, etc. Why not just increase total gathering and XP rates by 20% across every day, instead of singling out the weekends?

Well, there is fasttravel in the game...….just not for ships (which makes sense, nobody would sail anymore to save time and don´t have to fight) They could give a a new ship type, a very fast one that can´t have cannons on it! Maybe that would help those People that don´t like sailing in a pirate game

Because the engine was never meant to handle what it has to, they went the cheap way of "fixing" it. Same with the reduced building count after the last "relaunch".

Havent seen the weight issue yet, but I've seen issues with crew. Had a full crew on a schooner and a wild penguin landed and it started sinking. Wild creatures should NOT count as crew. Unfortunately I don't know how to counter the weight thing, other than removing the option to be able to board anyone ships. I believe that was a thing at one time.

Nice, so the market is responding, we are coming into a ''bear market'' now ( trading bear market, not bears like animals in game google for more info on ''bear market trading'' ) As people are copying ideas about lowering prices ( because pressure is rising ), and gifting stuff away ( because others did so before, no game give aways from fairy tails was paid by me and my idea so nothing fairy about that ) We from Affordable Atlas Tames are giving away another Atlas game for PC (gifted through steam ), join our discord to find out more regading the give away and what you need to do to participate.

Wozu dienen PowerStones? Hier mein Beispiel (inklusive XP): PowerStone1 Der Violette Stein! XP 40 PowerStone2 Der Blaue Stein! XP 40 PowerStone3 Der Tuerkise Stein! XP 40 PowerStone4 Der Gruene Stein! XP 40 PowerStone5 Der Gelbe Stein! XP 40 PowerStone6 Der Orangene Stein! XP 40 PowerStone7 Der Rote Stein! XP 40 PowerStone8 Der Weiße Stein! XP 40 PowerStone9 Der Cyan Stein! Icon_PowerStonesQuest_Complete',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Icon_PowerStonesQuest_Uncomplete.Icon_PowerStonesQuest_Uncomplete',QuestName="PowerStone Quest",QuestDescription="Reise um die Welt um alle Power Stones zu finden und bringe sie zum Endgegner",QuestPointsOfInterest=((PointOfInterestID=0,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 1",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.300529,Y=0.602469),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon.Item_InfinityGem_Icon',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=1,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 2",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.373015,Y=0.708994),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon2.Item_InfinityGem_Icon2',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=2,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 3",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.538741,Y=0.243307),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon3.Item_InfinityGem_Icon3',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=3,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 4",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.631745,Y=0.830099),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon4.Item_InfinityGem_Icon4',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=4,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 5",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.926454,Y=0.692768),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon5.Item_InfinityGem_Icon5',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=5,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 6",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.792592,Y=0.820458),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon6.Item_InfinityGem_Icon6',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=6,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 7",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.475249,Y=0.142661),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon7.Item_InfinityGem_Icon7',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=7,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 8",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.701234,Y=0.604506),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon8.Item_InfinityGem_Icon8',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/Item_InfinityGem_Icon10.Item_InfinityGem_Icon10'),(PointOfInterestID=8,PointOfInterestName="Power Stone 9",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.205290,Y=0.785890),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/HUD_GhostShip_Icon_Complete.HUD_GhostShip_Icon_Complete',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/HUD_GhostShip_Icon.HUD_GhostShip_Icon'),(PointOfInterestID=9,PointOfInterestName="Bringe alle Power Stones zum Endgegner!",WorldMapPosition=(X=0.879893,Y=0.503703),CompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/HUD_BossLocation_Icon_Complete.HUD_BossLocation_Icon_Complete',UncompletedIcon=Texture2D'/Game/Atlas/UI/Icons/HUD_BossLocation_Icon.HUD_BossLocation_Icon'))))) Kopiert euch den Parameter und fügt ihn in Notepad++ ein.

Because MOST people work a 9-5 5 day a week job. The 2x is intended to encourage people to play when they have the most time available. It is not unfair at all. Even in the groups you listed most of them again are not working the weekends or working them all the time. If they did what you are saying then 2x are not special nor do they encourage people to play more in their free time. You are simply upping the amount we get permanently. Your title sounds a bit entitled. Implying that because you have to work it is unfair. As if you are somehow being screwed over because you have to work those hours. You are in the minority in general, and nothing is going to ever be completely fair. Welcome to the real world.
