Yes, you can kill the whale. Takes forever... If you anchor your ship and drive with the sub to another grid, it consumes much more fuel there than in the grid with the ship. Didn't use a sub for a long time now but in the beginning it was like that.

Yeah. I agree. It's really boring with the same islands just rotated around in the same grid. All islands should be unique - but that's just a dream. At least, no islands should be identical in the same or nearby grids.
