    I think if you are having issues keeping track of your crew and tames, then you have to many. Maybe down size, specially for PvE. There is no need for huge fleets in our companies. I keep seeing excuses for losing things ( boats, crew and tames) it only takes a few minutes every other day to go to said boat and reset everything. If that is to much then I think you need to re-think how your company is working.

    About time too. All those foundations spammed out by players who quit 3-5 weeks ago.. still covering islands.. housing that has been raided, floors broken below only the lockers to steal stuff, leaving the skeleton of the house to stand for all time.. blocking spawns etc. Bout time it was activated.

    This is extremely annoying with many ships and crew and tames to keep track of, it's enough of a chore to keep them all fed and with gold, and now this on top of it.... Pls change back so no one can step on other peoples' boats, (in PVE at least)!! We do not need even more work to keep our crew and tame safe. Thanks @Jatheish

    I understand this post may get my forums account banned but somethings need to be said and the truth for some is a hard pill to swallow. I have watched the population of the game die swiftly due in large part to the lack of any real actions tanken against those that use Aimbot, ESP and a plethora of other exploits that seem to all come from the same region. What is the effect of a ban if the person in question simply bypasses the action taken by buying another copy of the game and repeating the same actions over again. These players are so blatant that they do not even attempt to hide it by changing company, or character names, knowing all to well that nothing will happen to them for some time while they continue to aimbot kill the sever population to alarming low levels. They are aimbotting with every weapon type and even cannons to snipe npcs off sails in 212 ping, but they are able to cannon snipe 8 ship armored crew off sails from 3 separate ships all by the same person. I understand a business model that supports both sides of a war, it allows you to keep making money off a game that currently has no other source of revenue than the initial purchase of the game, playing both sides of the fence allows a steady cash flow, but lacks integrity. Perhaps we can get a region lock? I understand that China has implemented new changes to the games its citizens are allowed to play and if the restrictions are correct there are many aspects of Atlas that violate those restrictions. “Games that contain images of corpses and blood will also be rejected. Developers previously modified blood color to green to circumvent restrictions, but the renewed guidelines have effectively ruled out any color variations of blood.” I am looking for a fair battlefield where my skill is tested against that of someone else not their ability to exploit the game.

    So with all the talk and excitement about this upcoming patch that will ruin PVP servers I'd also like to point out a serious flaw in this game that has been with us for quite a while now and that is the ship variety or rather lack of. For a game that prides itself on being a naval game there is depressingly only 3 ships worthy of choosing from when it comes to naval combat. There is the Schooner which is fast but more fragile, the Brigantine which is less fast and the Galleon which is both fast and strong but more expensive. As a result naval combat after a while feels a bit like deja vu you feel you have already seen all this before. This is also not helped by the fact that in addition to 3 ships we have the incredible variety of just two cannons to select from. What is troubles me about this I have yet to see a single post from the developers acknowledging the problem and certainly none saying they will be adding more variety.

    Scissors are made from metal. They should be able to cut human hair for YEARS before needing to be repaired. They cut HAIR, not titanium!!! It's petty, but you have to repair scissors more than any tool in the game. I can expertly fillet a tuna with the same pickaxe I just used to smash 20 rocks and the pickaxe needs less repair than scissors that I used to cut my 90 yr old hair.

    Devs, how can you possibly call this a pirate game when stealing boats takes years? I mean this has to be one of the main priorities!? Kill the crew, break the doors, kill the beds, steal the ship. You have all the mechanics in place already yet you guys insist on a timer to take ships. It's absolutely terrible. Two minutes to sink a ship but 5 hours to steal. You got to be kidding us. I brushed aside that this was just a ark remake, but can we at least get some decent mechanics?! Also why can small tribes not be nomadic? Would make everyone much happier if you could park your boat in the middle of the sea and log off. Take a hint from eve online. The best pirate game ever made. A small tribe shouldn't have to fight for and defend land. Their should be a way a group of four people have a boat an when they all log of the boat despawns after set amount of minutes or after the personal owner logs off it despawns long as no one is aboard or taking damage. Yet alone how many frames people will save when coming to over crowded areas when others are not online. Would improve game experience ten fold and also make the game an actual game of its own instead of being ark 2.0

    Guys i really enjoy my pirate life inside your persistant Atlas world. I just dont like how you absolutely focus on mega patches only for mega tribes. I am quite sure that the majority of your players are solos/small tribes/casuals. Why lock them out from fun stuff like subs and torpedoes ? One of the big advantages in Conan Exiles is the ability for everybody to gain anything solo. Not easily, but with the correct preparation and planning. Please consider a similar strategy and i am quite sure that the 50.000 players from game launch in december will be back here soon. Dont let the Atlas galleon crush into the next iceberg.

    As much as I love reading your "constructive feedback" on these forums it may be a good idea to find a term other than "megas", there is such a pitiful amount of people still remaining in this game spread across several official servers and countless private servers, I hardly think that term still holds any meaning, what constitutes a "mega" now, 50 person company? 20? As far as their actions on this issue I read it as - we have no way to find/take action against the people who have this setup so we will attempt to frighten them into getting rid of them on their own. We all know the track record these guys have for enforcement on serious issues let alone something like this...

    Guys, i did a test with someone in game and it turns out it's a ship based issue not land. If you tames are on land then timers refresh on render. I've provided detailed steps over to Dollie so hopefully that helps in pin-pointing the issue.

    As Dragfire says, under Behaviour you can Disable Ally Looking. The main problem is not the looking, it's that the collision results in stuck animals which is bloody stupid and shitty, shitty programming.

    You want decay/demolish timers to be removed? How would you see the removal of abandoned structures in that case? I'm not saying the 10 day structure timer is fine currently, i'd prefer it to be 2 weeks minimum, but we still need to be able to remove abandoned stuff.

    The thing about grenades is if you're the defender stuck inside your base or around your structures and people are just spamming them, there really is nothing you can do. You can't really spam them back or you're just doing their job for them, destroying your own stuff. The grenade meta is just too easy for the attacker both on a boat and on land, the attacker always has the advantage of only having to worry about not dying. Most of the raids these days just entail people gliding onto land with common gear and an inv full of grenades. cheap frills and no skills really.

    I don't want End game content at all "End Game Content" "Boss's" Are buzz words created bye World of Warcraft and the Generation of Gamers that have no idea what a game was before the: Dungeon End Game Content and Boss's and Dungeons is just more of the same WoW CRAP that has infested the MMORPG Genre for the last 15 years!!! I don't want any of that shit.... I want an Economy that works! I want a Vibrant Trading and Bartering System with Vendors that work! I want an entertaining Crafting system with Professions that matter and players who are not a Jack of all trades! NON Instanced Housing, where your home is your castle and your safe place! If you can't be safe at your house where can you be safe! I want Law and Order and Lawless zones not the current Chaos system we currently have! Basically I want a Sandbox MMORPG akin to Ultima Online or SWG, for those of you old enough to have actually played them! Its a far easier explanation! I want to go back to a time BEFORE WOW screwed up the entire MMORPG Genre with its THEMEPARK crap!!! A time when EVERYONE mattered inside of the Sandbox! The PK who hunted the Crafters, The Crafters who created the Tools and Weapons, The Adventurers who explored, the Hero's who killed the PK's When your reputation in a game was everything! And the Moment you killed someone everyone else knew about it and knew NOT TO TRUST YOU...

    I don't know maybe the Email I got saying Come back and Enjoy the new Mega Patch with a New Server Designed for Small groups and Cooperative game play!!!! <---- Thats what the damned email said. I came back and they did a freaking BAIT and SWITCH Also right here in this Official New Update! Colonies PvP: Freeform building, with more progress-protecting and time-enforced PvP rules creating a cooperative atmosphere, and limits to ensure the game is more oriented towards single players and small to mid-sized groups. We’ll have two official networks available for this mode, one in Europe and one in North America.

    Agree! This is making the game almost unplayable for me, very, very sad! We have tons of tames and there is NO way that I will be able to touch every single one, all the time, everywhere. The last few days several have been claimed by someone cause I didn't know about this change. I've always gotten by just fine with feeding them and being in rendering range from them, have never ever had an animal claimed by someone by using "render in" method. And now suddenly, it seems like animals are "free for all", unless you touch every single animal. (Just imagine picking up and throwing down 20 chickens every day, not to mention all the giraffes, elephants, bears, cows, pigs, etc. This has to change very fast, this won't work for companies with multiple tames. Feeding animals and fast travelling to all bases is enough work..... thanks if you guys can check this, devs, truly thanks, cause I don't wanna have to quite the game over this sudden massive new work load... thanks again for checking this. @Jatheish

    Now of course you do. Do you have the fortitude to do it? Who knows. i have still never to this day strayed that it doesn’t matter what the 4K people think. what you need to do is very simple. It is really very simple. Structures are invulnerable. Meaning you can not attack or wipe a base. If you do that then you will succeed. all you promised in the main description was sea battles. I never saw “land battles” in the description. pretty simple really. All tames and ships are vulnerable and bases are invulnerable. sure the Megas might be bummed but that really doesn’t matter in the first place lol because they are the real problem to begin with. with only 1k players even on peak there isn’t going to be any kind of economy any time soon, even if they completely got rid of the shop cost and even gave incentives. i am just really hoping there is a playerbase left by the time that console releases because I do want to play the game. I really don’t care how crappy it is( I will come here and give feedback). the worst thing is that we are very closely approaching pre wipe numbers. Some might not realize what that means. The reason I say this is because everyone thought that once we hit 3k it was only because the wipe was coming and that everyone would come back. well with the wipe also came the mega update. We only saw a 2700 increase from the 3000 that were remaining. From that time till now not only has there been another mega update but also there was no wipe needed. Unfortunately out of the 2700 that returned we have now lost another 1300 since then. i am sure that nobody checks the steam charts as much as I do but over the last week there has been 50 plus people leaving each day(not including weekends, only about 5 each day for weekends). Even weekends have seen a slight decrease though. i am sure the next mega update will bring the 54k back though it is very simple guys. Get rid of wiping. That is all you need to do. That simple.

    i have said it several times, regarding PvE people want STABILITY and PROGRESSION, people dont want to lose their hard earned ships or buildings just for taking a break from the game, yet they dont seem to get such a simple concept, this is the type of problem that arises when a group of non gamers develop a game, they are unable to connect with what is important to the players, and therefore are unable to satisfy their needs. this game had a fantastic potential, it could have been so awesome and fun, but devs failed to realise what made this game special, and totally destroyed it. such a pity, i had quit BDO for ATLAS, yet i only wasted my time and money.

    I noticed this in proximity to several of our ships a few weeks back. Once the ships were moved, it worked fine. Note that at no point were any of the ship structures actually blocking the line, they weren't even close really, but there seemed to be an enormous invisible bubble around the ships preventing usage of the zipline.

    Next time you make a game, please don't use the same rubbish that so utterly fails in ark. And if you're adding new gates, make them snap to something.. a fence post a foundation, anything.. oh and the half way point.. it should actually be half way. Not slightly off to one side, more or less in the middle. And the gates should be 4 tiles/fence sections high, not 3 and 4/7's Tell whoever the 5th party contractor doing the work for you.. to do their job properly to ingame already in place measurements.

    It's sad that allot of us don't build or harvest during the week and wait for the weekends due to the fact that standard 1X is just terrible. Just make 2X the new standard and give us XP weekends......many of us would probably play more.

    Kinda part of the topic, but we got some new Large Speed Sail BP's last night and there was no speed modifier listed. I know it has not been working, but they actually removed the non-working stat like the speed modifier on armor. Appears it might be awhile longer to get that fixed. Never is also on the table. I hope they can work it into the next mega update. I believe most people would like to see this back in the game and working.

    I have just checked on my tame ship this morning and someone has claimed my elephant and rhino, both gone. Checked the log and company ???? claimed both. This needs to change, I mean how can someone come on your ship and claim these in PvE when you log in every single day? I've been putting food in the trough everyday, I might not jump on each animal but why should I? Shouldn't have to. This is a complete joke, this needs addressing and putting top of the list @Jatheish

    Why do you all bring arguments to "counter" something that have nothing to do with the actuall text? Where did I as example say anything about content being not achievable for small groups? But still nrly every response is a bashing that everyone that does not want to play with 74 other person wants everything on a silver platter served. NOBODY ASKED FOR THAT. Just stop bringing the same arguments all over again. Grapeshot promissed for weeks a server for small companies. Again and again. I know many people that only started with Season 2 because of this promisse - and they are gone for good now. If you all don't care at all about the "few" people that despice being forced in huge groups, why do you bother reply? Let us all leave and be happy we are gone - since apperantly we are completly wrong and only people that want to play with 74 other people have to right to enjoy this game.

    And because of bad balancing and bugs they lost 55K players in the first few months, not because of lack of content. You can’t build a game on a broken foundation, that won’t end well.
