    Hello Devs, I am wondering why as a PvE group I can't have as many people in a certain alliance as I would like. I have 4 different types of alliances. Friendly tribes to keep in contact with, Progression tribes for powerstones, kraken, etc, trade tribes for buying and selling, and tenant tribes so I can talk to people living on our land the limitations of these add a lot of headache when I can't put all the tribes that belong in that group into those alliances. Is there a plan to change this? We have hit tribe limit twice which made it so some people's spouses that are casual were removed. I understand I could just keep adding people to stack points but the cap of 150 points means with our 2 islands I have 34 points I can spend which is only a smaller island which I believe should go to smaller tribes because they can't buy the bigger islands. We have some allies that would merge with us but they would lose their island and I can't bring all their people because of this limit is there a plan to change the limits on PvE? Currently gold has little value because there's nothing to spend it on. Most people I know have enough gold to keep their islands for over a year. Will there be a change to make gold (to me the resource most deals should be in along with mythos) to make it harder to get enough of? Are you going to remove freeport grids to make room for the new large land masses you are putting in? If so will the current lawless zones around them become claimable? Will the new large land masses be claimable? Will there be changes to the substantial imbalance of resource farmability located in lawless vs claimable lands? Is the feature for everybody or allies or company only for claimed lands going to be fixed or is it under company governance by mistake? I ask because having to knock down taming traps every day is awful. Will the new polar dungeon require the 20 power stones to access? What is the vision for how a powerstone island should be ran. Our tribe is recognized as a high end progression tribe and people ask us for how we get our powerstones. Naked running is how I answer them . The way I envision it is using tames and people to clear out islands of creatures. The problem is elementals/cyclops used to be killable with ballista/cannon (explosive kegs) recently you nerfed them to the point that I don't see it being doable and now it's just run things away because you can't kill them. Is there a plan to change the powerstones to give you more of a sense of accomplishment by clearing it instead of just running around naked with a carbine? (this includes the run naked to the cave and have people kill themselves until everybody gets their stone). I believe the hydra from H6 went to visit his buddy on L3 to see his new home. After a few shots he got drunk and can't get home. Is there a way to get the H6 hydra back home? I have noticed that the game has way too many schooners of the damned. I believe people kill the galleys and brigs cause they are high ticket ships then leave the schooners and now they wander around alone and angry. Could you make it so that the ships are worth exp per kill but the items and crew don't drop until you kill the entire pack of ships of the damned? After the nerf to predator spawns it seems to be too hard to find high level predators. Can they get increased spawns on the larger islands atleast? Why can't I tame and ride a turtle? Can the submarine get a button I can hold to auto dock rather than having to hold E on the wall of my sub? Can I get some kind of submarine port to protect my submarine? ~Lotus

    It's an issue we're working on at the moment, the client isn't receiving the correct information about whether it can feed the elephant or not from that specific location. As other's have recommended, whilst frustrating, a current workaround is to approach the elephant from a different angle, edging forward slightly, and attempt to feed it that way. We're going to be working on a more permanent solution to this of course, so you don't need to rely on these workarounds.

    You made an awesome game that you want to play, that's why I spent so much of my time and compiled this beta tester report, in the hope that the game will continue to develop and become better! Here are a few of my wishes / suggestions: 1. Real pirates do not sink ships, they seize them and rob! Add a boarding mode for sea battles. The mode is activated when a boarding hook loaded into the swivel weapon engages the enemy ship in a close naval battle. I described the entire mode in detail in the “Boarding” section. 2. To ban bots on swiveling guns on ships. Give players the opportunity to land on enemy ships. 3. Balance melee weapons. Blackjack is much more effective than saber and lance. Purple stunning damage is more effective for players than slow saber strikes and spikes. Stunning at 1 minute is tantamount to killing and even more dangerous. Swords and pikes are useless. Increase the damage and attack speed of the saber and spikes, otherwise they will not be used, because the baton worth 20 wood is more effective. 4. Ship guns and gunports no one uses, because big guns are more effective. Enter the limit on the number of large cannons on the ship, so that players use ship cannons and gunports. 5. Players cover the ships with roofs to protect the cores from the cores; they turn out to be ugly monsters, not ships. Limit the ability to close the slats roofs, build only up and inside the ship. 6. There is very little variety of ships, there were a lot more sailing ships in history, please add new ships. And add more varied fittings, not only the bow of the ship, but also the new appearance of the sails, different steering wheels, beautiful railings, patterns, statues, lanterns, balconies, so that players can create unique ships that do not look alike. Reduce the weight of wooden structures on the ship, so that players make not minimalistic ships due to problems with overload, but can create their own unique ships with cabins, rooms, balconies, etc. 7. Turn off automatic bots shots on ships, let bots shoot at the player’s command just to make the fights more alive and unpredictable. Bots auto shots in anchor mode only. 8. Fix non-killing bots in the tow. This is a problem, the immortals should not be. Imbalance in favor of the defenders. 9. Reduce the resistance to damage from the armor, or increase the damage of the firearm on the armor, killing a player with 6-10 shots from a long-reloading weapon is not normal. The same thing, increase the damage on animals and bots, killing them from 10-20 shots is awful and implausible. 10. Allow bots to use firearms (carbine, musket, pistol) to liven up battles and use NPS in combat as a combat unit, and not only as an application for the functioning of a tow or pivot weapon. You can give them slow aiming so that they do not hit the running targets and long reloading so that the bots are not a strong problem for the players. But when a bot is not a useless servant for stationary guns, but a combat unit from which a detachment can be created and used when attacking an enemy it will be fabulous fights. 11. Add a debuff after death, for example - 30% to everything within 10 minutes. That people were afraid to die, engaged in food and the balance of vitamins. Now if there is a bed near, then no one is watching the food and vitamins, because to die and be reborn next to it is nothing. People deliberately kill themselves to restore the balance of vitamins or fill the stomach. Boarding mode a) You can load boarding hooks into the swiveling weapon on ships. b) When approaching ships at close range, you can shoot hooks and cling to the enemy ship. With a successful hit, the boarding mode begins, at which the ships approach, align and stop. c) Each hook hooked to the enemy ship has a margin of safety and can be destroyed with a melee weapon. If all hooks are destroyed, the boarding mode is terminated. d) Under the boarding mode, you cannot open the sails, you cannot shoot from guns and swivel weapons, you cannot flood your ship and demolish the planks, the resource box and the box for projectiles are blocked for use. e) To capture an enemy ship, you need to set a flag on it in boarding mode and protect it for 15 minutes. The defending team can reset the boarding and seizure of the ship by destroying all the hooks holding their ship or running to the enemy flag on their ship and pressing E to destroy the flag holding the command for 30 seconds. Any damage to the player resets the process of destroying the flag and must be re-clamped for 30 seconds. f) If the attacking team manages to defend their flag on the enemy ship for 15 minutes and save at least 1 hook, then the enemy ship goes along with its resource box and shells as a reward.

    My only question would as to whether or not you plan to wipe the servers again. As i think in doing so would severely damage your player base.

    Ahoi, I would like to know if you have plans to add some story to atlas like in ark so that we can find maybe a captains log ingame with story related informations and maybe some story skins rewards? I also have some sugestions and i would like to hear some from you if some things are likely or plant to come in the future. The colouring of ships should show a more opaque colour, in the beginning it was possible to paint planks free again which made the colour more opaque. A buyable potion that prevents hair from growing and one that turns it on.(or a option if you cut your hair with the scissor) more Hairstyles, pls Will i be able to have a cursed looking crew (and skins for me) like skeleton pirates or cursed fishmen crew members? A signal flag should be placeable on the masts where you can show a Jolly Roger or your own flag. (now if we have the deco flag it should have a snap point on the mast) One wide ridge is missing as roof function, and a more flatternd roof parts for ships, the normal sloop wall roof looks very silly on the ships a 2x2 floor gate to be able to build cargo ships for better animal transport. Crew members should play songs if they have instruments in their inventory, generally more crew possibilities, i would like to be able to hang these etc. Cages should be able to be placed on horse carts and prisoners should be able to be placed in them. After entering the pin code, the lever should no longer be used to select the pin code quickly, but should have the Open / Close option. The new small gate is great, what is missing now is that we get a gate which lets the elephant through but is not too high. Maybe we could change the middle gate to 4x4 Conan exiles have some great DLC's that brings new Building parts that clearly simple Building skins and armor skins, would soemthing like this coming to atlas? I would like to have more themed based building/cloths tools etc. maybe Viking, Marine, Skull, cursed etc themed? Will we get more and other ship costumisations? it would be a blast to have some cursed themed pirates of teh caribean like davy jones ship

    Sounds like you spent some time enjoying the game and doing the content but your letting some random player ruin it for you. I don’t believe you’ll uninstall the game over losing your loot this one time, those of us who have been playing since release have lost everything but we are still here, keep in mind that your playing to have fun, so what if you have lost a few hours, we all lost a couple months when the wipe happened. Don’t let something so minor ruin what could be a lasting experience for you.

    When you have a ceiling hatch that is one wall high, it won't let you place it because it collides with the floor. Needs fixed. Book shelf requires you to place first, and then place the ceiling over it, if the room is one wall high, such as on a ship. I would like to see the basic building structures be put into a separate category in the code, to allow it to collide with the terrain. Having played on both ARK and Atlas unofficial servers that allow this, I assure you that it makes building much more pleasant to do. Also allows for less structures as you often have to use more structures to find work arounds to the collision issue when you run into those spots that just won't allow a structure to be placed, where you need them to be placed to complete the structure. I totally understand that you don't want every structure to be able to collide, but those issues were largely solved in S+. For instance, while you could mostly bury a vault into terrain, or other structures, when you did so, you could no longer access the inventory, negating the exploit.

    You are unable to damage the Ghost Ship (Powerstone one) until it enters another server, even though it is completely visible and past 0:00. This makes it quite frustrating to kill, on top of servers being at different times. e.g. We left a server at around 02:00 and entered another with the time around 04:30.

    Your nerfs to the firearms was UNWANTED unneeded and UNDESIRED. Guns are utterly USELESS now in PVE. they are so expensive so late in the game and they are literal TRASH. I want to play a pirate game to feel like a damn pirate! not use a god damn bow and freaking arrow! this is not ARK this is not the stone age! we do not want to run around with bows and arrows! we want flintlocks and black powder and guns! cannons! BOOM! that kind of thing what in the hell did you devs do to the guns!? Bows get skills that can up their damage by 60%!!! guns have no skills that up their damage ?! o.0 Bows hit three times harder than guns and reload 3 times faster than guns when fully skilled what the hell did you do devs?! and with fire arrows they hit way harder! Bows were supplanted by guns fucking centuries ago! we should not be running around with them in late game or even mid game!? Guns can't even hurt the damned?! it's use a bear or fire arrows or doesn't fucking bother hunting for treasure. FIX YOUR FIRE ARMS. Rebuff them right now! leave them alone! if you can not kill a god damn level 1 wolf in a single shot with a late game carbine?! you have fucked up your game design and need to retry.

    After rocky start, focus on Gear and More Tames... your player base is bottoming out. Can we take a serious look at what is healthy for the game, and appropriate size of world needed for PVP... I feel its too large for the current player base and is promoting stagnant growth.... We can argue all day PVE kids or you can stay out of my thread as this pertains to the only player base that can save this game. (PVPvE) Thanks.

    Since the wipe announcement my brother stopped playing the game. I have to say, I haven't had more fun with this game ever. Anyone who is hating life in a large or even midsize company, do your own thing. I guarantee you wont be disappointed. I play the game in somewhat of an RP sense. I started a farm, am a hair shy of level 50 right now and can do just about everything besides maybe the super late game stuff 100% solo. There's always so much to do and keeping some friends nearby is always helpful. It does help Ive been around since the beginning so a lot of those companies know me already, but I will say this game is very enjoyable. I really wish they would find a way to be able to get AI to farm though. I think this would change the game in such a positive way. Make it so each player can only have so many AI farm. And tames are not allowed. I cant imagine it would be the most difficult thing to program considering RTS's have been doing it for 20 years. Just my two cents, and some positivity on this board. Looks like a bitch fest most of the time

    If you are wishing for a quick death then good riddance. I am not a fan of these changes either, but I will continue playing and supporting creative changes that I like and complaining about those I dislike.

    We need a ceiling version of this as well please. Also please a simple cut in half version of all of the above, ie its one unit wide but only half a unit long. It also occurred to me that if we had a 5x5 ceiling and floor it would dramatically reduce the size of the database for large structures and the rules for checking them - needs one post in the middle square and its done. Be perfectly ok if it took the same amount of resources to make them as making 25 of the corresponding item. So the question is could we see an update to the simple building items and perhaps a carpenters workbench that's similar to a smithy but you can craft wood and thatch building items in and for those with esoteric building a masonry workbench for stone building items. Thanks for the fun game, keep plugging away.

    you can babble on about the lore like the rest of the sycophants for this game but the game was marketed as a pirate game with some fantasy elements, not what it has become and is becoming in the future.

    I feel Atlas is getting better every day. What is missing is a player base that actually works out quite well. At the moment for example there's no point in opening a player shop, without it the economy can't run and without running economy the game is only half for me as a trader at least. Other than that I am looking forward to further changes, the new Colonies System keeps my sleeping cycle intact and I can do much more ship combat than before. Settlements are still an issue tho as they aren't used by Settlers at all. I'd actually change the entire lawless System to support this because on lawless servers I'd put the very rare resources and enable the old claim system only for these Islands so people actually start fighting over rare resources. Anyway comparing to other games I paid 25 bucks for a lot of fun with a lot of people which I cannot complain about seeing other games prices/monthly fees/ingame shops. I havn't played ARK, from the Videos I don't like it.

    That's because your ship is slower with all sails open. Slower ship = faster turning. Try to reorient the sails on schooner so that they are red and it will do a 360 in a matter of seconds. 3x speed sail is still the way to go unfortunately.

    Hmm. As a fellow PVE player, I dont agree about the disparity between bows and guns. Bows do lots of damage close up due to their rapid fire, but the bow’s short service life before needing repair and the fact that the projectile drops after about 30 feet, combined with the fact they’re not insta-hit like bullets and can be dodged, kind of makes up for it. i like the fact that different kit is better for different circumstances, it adds a level of preparation to whatever you are doing, you need to anticipate what you’ll likely need and what loadout to carry. What you’re asking for is the gun to be the only solution and bows to be obsolete from the start. also, the bow buffs you’re talking about require a heavy skill point investment. Higher than a basic flintlock

    I concur. We attacked it during two phases between 00:00 and 6:00 and no damage occurred. Did not follow it around for another 3 or 4 hours to see what would happen if it crossed a zone while visible.

    While this is a fantasy game, flintlocks do take 15 to 20 seconds for an experienced person to reload. Pretty sure it takes less than that in game. To counteract this, there were multibarrel pistols. Pirates didnt reload mid battle, they switched to a sword or dagger. Or another pistol as many carried multiple pistols.

    Are you sure about the level 52@200%? My understanding was the levels are capped at 50 and to achieve that you needed a mythic shipyard (durabilty not being a factor)

    I would like to add my voice to the player shop concerns. A shop that could be built and operated for free would encourage dialogue and trade between players. Gold should not be even necessary when things can be traded for resources. In a PVE lawless setting for example, someone could ‘sell’ constructed gliders at the top of cliffs. You could provide treasure hunting supplies to explorers. Ship parts for those who have been damaged. If you want the game to act like your trailers, shops should be easy and fun. Then players will have more reasons to explore for bargains and items. A market place setting would provide another level of competition without adding anything to the game except free shops.

    No I fully 100% agree with the poster, they are killing this game with this bullshit. they need to go back to the original idea of a fucking pirate game not this be. the guns look like laser guns not flintlocks.

    Actual NPC pirates. Their AI would follow you until you exceeded their range OR they sank you OR you dropped your sails (stopped) in which they “steal” 20% of your cargo. In turn if you sink them the ship wreck yields a map to where they have “placed” all their stolen booty. Land owners of the grid, while this ship is in their grid lose “5% of taxes collected”, a notifications of Pirates at the home grid would be appropriate.

    Actual ship dock Like prebuilt construction docks but these are for parking ships. As an added feature put a crew on the wheel and tell them “move ship to xxx” and they park it for you.

    Devs, i love your game and most people do but the real problem is the MP only side of it which can be very off putting and to Toxic for many players even in PVE.

    It would be very nice if you devs would try and keep the game a little bit true to the era. Is this game really just gonna turn into Ark 2? I'm sure a lot of us would prefer pirate related content. Anything else takes away from the immersion. How about keeping that stuff set aside for a dlc so everyone is not forced to play with it.

    Proposal for a new large mega-update. You have made a terrestrial world, a watery, underwater world, in May an underground one will appear, the next step is an overground or aerial world! Make magic flying in the clouds of the island as golden ruins. To get there, players are worth a flying ship, which costs a lot of resources and flies on special rare fuel that is difficult to get and little appears, for example, players create balloons and look for plants in the golden ruin that produce volatile gas. Balloons filled with this lawn are needed for the manufacture of a flying ship and are used as fuel for flight. On the islands of the air, players can complete quests and tame flying creatures (for example: pegasus, hypogrif, big eagle, pteractactil) You already have the mechanics of flying in the game and have been at the Ark. I think this is not a problem to create. So that players do not fly everywhere and constantly in flying creatures to make a big expense of endurance during flight, so that players cannot fly far. And prohibit the flight by a margin.

    Question: When is the AI going to be further developed? At this time we have basic AI that will do basic fighting, Cannon and ship sailing. I believe that NPCs should be integrated more into the game, so that towns and villages look busier, and you can bump into AI on the road, maybe even a Pirate gangs trying to mug you. The potential is endless. I would like to see the AI developed further, so that we can make AI more useful in tasks such as Gardening (Fertiliser deposits, and crop collection; Farming (Stone, Thatch, Fibre, and stone.). This game is supposed to be a Pirate Adventure, but currently 80% of my time is spent farming. Also I know of at least 20 settlers on my island that have left the game citing that the game is too farming intensive. In addition the NPCs could act as Law Enforcement to help with a reputation system. Which leads to ..... QUESTION 2: When will a reputation system be added to the game? This can then be linked with a Law enforcement system to make base raiding more challenging, as a neg reputation would be gotten when you attack another company in combat time, thus alerting the Royal Navy (CONCORD/POLICE) and making it potentially harder for you to get away with your stolen bootie. A suggestion of how this could work is available at. The reputation system could also be used to improve the rep between companies, maybe a system whereby the company can either add remove reputation points to your company as they see fit, or a more automated system of the the more your work near them in peace the better your reputation gets.

    I know Anne from my early Days in C9 in Decembre where she started her adventure. She was really helpfull and one oft that kind of players that contributed a lot in making a good and friendly community, i hope that this trolling from a few people will end or atleast that the admins take action to controll it. with best regards Efariam

    You could actually shoehorn something like this suggestion into the current system by leveraging the various woods they already have in game. Say that any common deck, plank, gunport, or sail made with only one type of wood would have the following effect on the ship (or component). Generic Wood or mixed wood - No bonus Agedwood +1% more ship gun range Darkwood +1% more ship gun damage Lightwood +1% higher ship weight limit Softwood +1% higher ship speed Strongwood +20% more component hp Wetwood +1% higher ship turning rate Ironwood +1% more ship hp Assuming the above % is for small planks, for balance you could probably tweak those numbers down a bit to apply .5% for medium planks/sails/decks made of a single wood, and .25% for large planks/sails/decks (since galleons have about 80 of the above components, but sloops only have about 20 - a ship made entirely of one would be in the 20% ballpark you suggest) Once you get into blueprints above common, the above bonuses would no longer apply, since presumably good blueprints will offer better specific benefits, and you obviously have to use multiple types of wood anyway. Without adding any new ships, the whole game would be a customize-o-rama, with alot more variety than we see now, at least under the hood.

    At a minimum, bump the stack size. Or allow for some expensive long term storage "Kibble" for the animals. 10 fish, 10 meat, 10 fruit, 10 veg = 10 kibble (no decay)
