Ships of the Damned ought to give more substantial rewards

I'm not certain if it's due to their low levels, but even smaller ships of the damned feel like they should give more than a few coins, besides the crewmembers to save. A lone shipwreck has a chance to give much more and is much less dangerous to retrieve.
