Major D3D/Hung crashes today

Recommended Posts

As of late this morning, I am having crash after crash due to D3D lost error.

Processor: i9-9900k

GFX card:  GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (with latest driver 425.31 as of 4/11)

RAM: 64G

Seriously, there is NO reason for this game to crash SO much!! @Jatheish

It's a crash we've been iterating on for a while, Epic themselves are also investigating it. Was hoping we had it sorted with our latest build but guess not. Thank you for letting us know and sharing the stack, we'll keep investigating.

We're good, it's the same root problem that we'll need to resolve. Afraid don't have an ETA on it, but it is a high priority for us.

@Jatheish I'm having this problem as well. I can't play for more than 30 minutes, then it crashes and I have to verify files or reinstall.

i9-9900k, 32gb ram, RTX 2080.

Drivers and windows all up to date.

Image is from before, but it's giving me the exact same error.

Getting the same crash seems to be land based and not sea based.

Is this verified? I am constantly now getting this crash and I am away from home base to breed animals. I want to sail home but I'm afraid of crashing and being destroyed by all hostility on the seas in turn losing all 7 of my animals.
