Error Upon trying to play and can't get steam to run it

Every Time I try to run the game steam tells me either a file is missing or this file " Program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\AtlasPTR.bat ". I run the validate and clear the cache and reboot and unstall and reinstall all for the same thing to happen again. EVERY single time. I have talked to others who say this file doesn't even exist in their files. PLEASE HELP!!!

Just run the game normally, i.e. pick the first option in the list to play Atlas not the last.

Im sorry what does that mean?

Im having the same issue and have taken the same steps as stated above

When you click play, select the first option on the list as you would normally do when you play Atlas.

OK thanks Im trying it now, and its reinstalling for the 8th time

Ok now I dont get that error, I can pick the EU server and set a spawn place, but I get to the globe page and sit there with only 6FPS.  The game is eating memory but says 'not responding' in task manager

Ok it worked and I am in, I had to choose a different spawn location

so you can run it normally and still access PTR? not that is that important as the release is later today  (hopefully)
