Sadie Blackhawk 98 Posted April 10, 2019 (edited) Ok here is my idea for pvp/pve areas. We can still keep the current system of Settlement. But to deal with the issue of 4 day decay on both lawless/claim islands. Why not do something as simple as a claim block? It's a no build radius so people can't touch your pixels. Can be placed on both lawless and claimed lands. Make it decay in 10 days. That gives people adequate vacation time. Make sure the cost is high enough where people can't spam them and settlement owners can actually demolish if people decide to be jackasses and spam them. Lets say 1000 gold will give you 10 days grace period. It wouldn't be all that different from the current claim flag system. It also will give people a sense of ownership and safety. It's something to work towards and not just a gimme gimme. If it auto decays in 10 days time. Your choice is to build a new one or go back to 4 days decay. Only buildings and ships would be guaranteed safety. You don't feed your crew/animals in that 10 days. Well guess they are gonna starve out/mutiny. Can be made like a makers mark or house medallion that you post on the front of your main building. Kinda like the cosmetic flags.
