Hi @Cpt. BlackOrBit

Hi amazing work i want to say first off, so thank you for all your work.

my only issue with it is when a server crash's there is no auto restart, would be a nice feature, only if there is a crash though.

Great work on the program.  I run a private 2x2 for our clan and using ASC has made this a breeze.  When i want to start the tilemap server it states that Redis is not running.  When i click on Start Redis it shows green but as soon as i close the small window its red again.  Any suggestions on this.  Also any way to increase loot/treasure quality would be an awesome addition.

Great program, starting to get to grips with it now. Starting to push out the settings for hosting on multiple machines.

However, when you run the wizard, and import your existing .JSON file, on whichever machine you are installing it on. It then sets up the four ports for you each time.

This strikes me as being a little unnecessary really as if you have already setup your JSON file with exactly the ports that you want each server instance you use, it shouldn't really be reassigning those ports again. I end up having to change them back in the program again to what I want them to be.

Maybe a "skip this step" feature would be useful?

Just my thought anyway.

Kind Regards,

Brian

still somewhat new to ASC and atlas, but i am having an issue

i created a world with a 4x4 setup and left the default map configuration as is (literally what it auto-generated) and left the spawn area alone as well (Freeport). currently, all 4 spawn islands keep spawning with missing terrain and you pretty much fall through. there are plants/grass/trees where the terrain should be. Is this an issue with ASC or with atlas itself and any ideas on what would be best to fix it?

thanks

youtube video attached so you can see what i mean

@BurnerZA Probably a month too late, but the problem is that ASC corrupts your "ServerGrid.ServerOnly.json" when you save or export on a clean server.

When you open that file you'll notice that at the end it says: "DatabaseConnections": null

Replace that with the code below and it will work. 🙂 (change pw / port where applicable)

"DatabaseConnections": [
  {
    "Name": "Default",
    "URL": "127.0.0.1",
    "Port": 6379,
    "Password": "foobared"
  },
  {
    "Name": "TribeDB",
    "URL": "127.0.0.1",
    "Port": 6379,
    "Password": "foobared"
  },
  {
    "Name": "TravelDataDB",
    "URL": "127.0.0.1",
    "Port": 6379,
    "Password": "foobared"
  },
  {
    "Name": "TerritoryDB",
    "URL": "127.0.0.1",
    "Port": 6379,
    "Password": "foobared"
  },
  {
    "Name": "LogDB",
    "URL": "127.0.0.1",
    "Port": 6379,
    "Password": "foobared"
  }

@SparcMX Hey there, I've been trying for hours to get the maps to work but they end up grey no matter what I do.

One thing I noticed is that the server windows show the seamlessIP as the local loopback. I've read elsewhere that this should be set to the public IP of the map image hosting machine but I don't have a static IPv4 and rely on DynDNS. That aside though, I've found no setting to actually change this IP as the actual server start command is not exposed.

 asc_seamless.png?dl=1

Is there currently a way to overwrite the SeamlessIP parameter from the server start command with a DNS address? Or is it fine being set to localhost if there's only one hosting PC?

So I've put up a 2x2 with ASC. I can see the a1 server, me and others can log into it. But for some reason A2, B1 and B2 aren't showing on the list. I can travel to them via boat. But if I log out I can't get back into the server because the other's aren't showing. Do I have an option set wrong somewhere?
