Some groups of 5-10 people i eat up before my first coffee, but 2000 chinese would have been a challenge. Perfect solution : - people with balls and free souls join the hardcore server - natural born slaves and warm shower takers join the masochstic megatribe slave empire server - scared carebears join the PVE server By this everyone receives what he deserves. Not enough content to keep people interested. Empire server is just going to be a wasteland with a few "mega" companies and solo pvpers living around the map. ALL casual players, which make up the majority of the games population especially at the start when its fresh, are going to be on colonies + people who want to see the new claim systems etc. What possible reason would small groups of players/solo players want to play on empires, when they can have raid protection on colonies. within a week+ empires will be dead. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Bandit_Black 46 Posted March 19, 2019 This is a bad move for population. And while Im in favor of a hardcore server rule set. Gonna have to play small tribes with my clan. Empire will be dead on arrival probably. There won't be the numbers we saw at launch. In fact, how you gonna start with a 200+ clan in a 150 tile anyways. But in reality they will go Empires ! Total freedom ! They can rule a small part of a claim island and must not hold it completely. No restriction on where cannon building is allowed, where cannon firing is allowed and when it is allowed. No slaver dominus coming along to demolish your home in just one click. Very wise decision of the devs, total happy. The slaves can play their masochistic games with their megatribe slavers on Colonies server without me or any other balls-equipped players. I was offlined a few times in the beginning when i had no idea about clever building and hiding stuff. During the last month i have not been raided at all, although i had many bases. Whatever "clever build" you choose it´s always insanely easy to sink your ships while offline. There is nothing to stop it with current defensives. You know it very well. If someone sinks my shipi can sink his ship as well... without stupid megatribe protection time windows to respect. And the other one knows that i can do this. Much better protection than any artificial time frame. A mega was forced to cease fire after i made sure that i am able to sink their armada every night, no matter how many puckles they place.
