sensualtrex 6 Posted March 11, 2019 The fairly large company I play with has plans to spam foundations on our island so we can prevent enemies and other companies from denying our ability to build and prevent enemies from establishing a base of operations against us. Mythical Knight 1 Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) As owner of an Island you have the ability to control who builds on it to some degree. In addition there is a decay system where materials need to be added to some sort of station to maintain buildings. This means anything detached from from your base will decay rapidly most likely if you don't do upkeep. That's how Lawless zones work today and even though I only see 2-5 people in them these days, they are still filled with stone foundations every 4 feet. They need a gate replacement, like a large stone wall, otherwise people will still always grind them out. If the game rules allow it the hardcore groups will always make it happen. I agree they need more large pre-constructs to give more alternatives to these spams. However these structures have a mesh associated with them and can be demoed in sequence to crash servers.
