Ive been trying hard to get my computer to play this at a better fps and higher settings,

I have it set to medium and get mid 40 fps  On high settings it tanks,

I have an

i5 7600k over clocked

32gb ram

rtx 2060

My video card is pretty beefy but it is always pegged at 100%,  my cpu never gets higher then 65% and well i got more then enough ram i dont ever use it all  33%

how is everyone able to put in high and keep there fps up?

What resolution?  I run 1080p because I'm to cheap to buy new monitors.

What I found is my gtx 1080 has 8gb ram.  On high atlas uses over 7gb.  Medium it could still be maxing out gpu memory.

wn10-task manager-performance tab-click on gpu-shows gpu memory usage.

Well, its hard to say.

Im not convinced the RTX 20 series is better than the GTX 10 series. I have a gtx 1070 and no issues on my end running max settings. And it gets smoother with every optimization they push out.

That being said, just make sure your north bridge is able to keep up with you over clocked cpu and ram or else its not really doing much.

And ofc if your not using a SSD then that's likely your issuse right there.

Why do people think 1080p is ‘less good’ than 1440p? That’s such a misunderstanding.

To clarify.  1440p in medium/high settings is better than 1080p ultra (60fps goal.)  Same with 4k,  medium/high settings is better than 1440p ultra (60 fps goal.)  It all costs money.

Goal for all is they best they can with what they have.

Same goes for the the 144hz and 240hz, just moves the bar higher.

Yet I would never buy a 240Hz monitor (without g-sync) if I didn’t play CS or a game like that.
