Fire Cannons are completely busted in land combat

Two people and a fire cannon can kill 60 tames? Devs please find a way to fix this/ eliminate it totally from land based combat. YOu guys have the possibility to make melee (sword fighting) absolutely amazing in this. Please continue down that road

Do explain. The only real defense is hoping you can get some balista shots off before they close the range on you. Even then the flame ignores boundaries like walls

it's not that hard to kill 1 tame if u own 60 to defend yourself? Or just build a proper defense. you could even shoot the guy on the swivel gun.. or build something to keep him off your tames.... many many possiblities

so please don't complain about things you can easy handle yourself...

Why not whistle those tamea to attack, no way these 2 will survive 60 tames attacking them at the same time....

Lol thats about the worst idea, then they just run away with your tames flaming them all the way ...

Maybe max 5 tames would solve the issue, preferably only shoulder pets as this is a pirate orientated game, never heard Giraffes and Elephants riding along on pirate ships. But all joking aside....

60 tames? really?

Why not have some defenses around those tames on a PvP server?

To be fair, if I see 60 lions or bears standing around, I would also want to devise some way to kill them quick.
