Why no 2x or 6x bonus for salt?

Whats wrong with not giving 2x or 6x bonus for harvesting salt or coins while random digging.

Salt is hard enough to get for use in forging alone. breaking approx 2 shovels per sm cannon farming salt and 3+ for lg.

Taking longer making cannons for my galleon than it took to build it.

It is a resource like wood, thatch, etc

Go look for salt nodes, they give may more salt then digging, it's not worth to dig for it tbh.

Salt will be mostly on Tropical Islands.
