New PvE Claim System only promotes Griefing

So the fix for the PvE claim system is to remove it completely and have a lawless system all over the map. Which leads to pillar and foundation spamming. And base griefing.

 

How to fix the Problem Right

1. Sea Claims Removed

2. 2 Claims per ACTIVE player in Company.

3. Extra Islands

4. Bans for players spamming pillars, foundations, and blocking resources.

5. Lawless Zones COMPLETELY unbuildable except for dry docks.

1. They already said that there won't be claim flags in the sea.

2. A company's "bill" to upkeep all of these claims will be SO DARN LARGE that they'll never hold them all.

3. They're adding more than 100 islands.

4. Nah ... just have an admin remove the spammed pillars ect...... if it continues by the same person, then ban them from the island.

5. They're making the decay timer quicker and (I believe) you have to manually fix EACH AND EVERY piece of your building to keep it up. This will prohibit people from living there too long.

Grapeshot has already commented on how they don't have enough people to deal with issues AND work on this game. They've never responded to any requests to disappear abandoned ships that were blocking access/structures, and now you expect them to have the time to go delete pillars and foundations?

Additionally, they've already committed to taking a hard line stance against exploiters and dupers in PvP. So that is going to be taking up a helluva chunk of the time that they DO have to address complaints.

No.  1 flag per 10 levels of the character.  Active players will have access to  more land, which only makes sense.

hahahaha unless the upkeep structure is one per company on pve welcome to to spamming them and pillars all over place if someone want you off the spot they like they will do what they can to get u off if that includes spending all their time farming mats for upkeep they will do it until u move ...

 

until we get confirmtaion that the upkeep building is limited to 1- 2 per company , or that building at resource points is somehow blocked then the system as we all see it is ark like ... a real grief fest if a player so wants .....

the decay timers for building parts needs to be an hour or less per part  or we just see players not repairing thm just building new ones as the decay timer runs out , 

example 1 part 5 mins 2 parts 10mins 3 parts 15mins and so on this will work if u are building there properly as by time u have your  base up u will have a couple of days decay , this will only hurt players who are spamming pillars all over , upkeep building will keep them up for a limited time but due to the fast decay they wont be able to keep it up for long this will eliminate pillar spam as the up keep would be too high , pillar decay at 1 hp per second if single pillar would cost u 1 of each resource per second to upkeep , 2 pillars 2 of each and so on , whereas if u are building as u attach peices the decay timer gets longer so will cost less per hour up keep
