Pegarex 2 Posted February 17, 2019 What advantages do breeding higher level animals have? Other then the obvious chance of having higher level children, and powerful animals faster. I just want to make sure that there is no weird family level cap, and by breeding 2 level 10s as parents I don't lock all of their descendants to having kids caped at level 40 or something. boomervoncannon 1,541 Posted February 17, 2019 Breeding isn’t fully implemented yet, but in Ark people bred for 2 main reasons: better stats and interesting or unique colors. In Atlas it appears there will be a third reason. Rumor has it breeding has a very small chance of producing alpha offspring, which would be the only way of obtaining alpha tames. Bad News Bear 59 Posted February 17, 2019 (edited) Alpha tames really sound dumb, tames are already tanky af. if there was such a thing atlas would just become sea of tames tbh Edited February 17, 2019 by Bad News Bear
NEWMFIN 0 Posted February 17, 2019 Currently atm a 120 will not gain xp but a 119 will. I had got a 170 alpha female bear out of one of the babies i was breeding, and to bring the stats down so they can gain xp ive discovered 119 is the magic number
