Each grid need 2 cores to work properly.

Agree not a lot of cores\threads on that cpu. So I would say 4x4 would likely Max that system out. Depending on the number of players too. Lower player count the more grids you could run. cpspok 16 Posted February 17, 2019 I plan on running a 3x3 with around 50 ppl max , the server is only $234 that is why i was like hmmm 5 hours ago, Starbuck said: It's missing the processor cores. Starbuck 24 Posted February 18, 2019 Important thing i've seen running the servers is the number of islands on each grid also, the more islands you put on a grid the more creature spawn you will have so demand is higher a bit. Also how many claims you allow per company / size of their base.
SNK 1 Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) I don't think the processors will be your bottleneck, i'd worry more about the ram in the system than anything. I have a c6220 with 8x xeon 2670 v2's (2.5ghz, 3ghz turbo) with 384gb of ram. The way i have mine set up is in 4 individual nodes. each node has 2x processors and 96gb of ram dedicated to it. I run a 5x5 across those 4 machines and i'm only using 9% cpu but i'm hitting 20% ram usage on 6 shards(per node). So judging from my experience, if you're looking for something that can host bigger than 3x3 then i'd look for more ram.
