Hello friends, I am trying to decipher the names of the different islands that you can place in ServerGridEditor. Currently building a 7x7 grid and would love to make it as accurate as possible when it comes to island location, size and purpose. The naming of the files aren't very self explanatory however. 

All islands are named by type and up to three different codes. 

  • Type: Cay, Ice, Islet, Mnt
  • Code 1: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, GB, JB, LB, NB, OB
  • Code 2: CH, CL, CPE, EE, ER, ET, HD, PO, TR, WF, WR, WT, WU
  • Code 3:  B, C, D, E, PVE

I would say it is mostly Code 2 that I would like to know the explanation of. I've heard some videos where people refer to CL as Lower Desert or something but that doesn't really make much sense to me. So perhaps you guys know the answer. Also I think that PVE is for the powerstone islands.

Removed a batch of all the island combinations, took too much space.

Found some information. 

You need at least 9 different island types to cover all the resource types that are available.

Known names of freeport islands. 

Code 2	Desc
CH	Desert
CL	Desert
CPE	Polar
EE	Equatorial
ER	Tropical
ET	Temperate
HD	
PO	Polar
TR	Tropical
WF	Temperate
WR	Tropical
WT	Temperate
WU	Tundra
