workaround Problems with MODs / Cannot lern Engram

Recommended Posts

Example: eco's RP Decor
Server: RootServer/Windows ATLAS 18.XX

Cannot lern Engram or Something

Server overwrites mod data with incomplete version, 1631908356.mod file deletes every startup.

FAQ from "Eco" don´t help me ...but... my solution work for me this time.

1.) Close Redis and Server!

2.) Copy Mod-Files from Client

SERVERPATH\ShooterGame\Content\Mods

\1643109631 \1643109631.mod

Important: 1643109631.mod must be flag "read-only" in Properties of the File.

3.) ALTAS have AutoManageMod-System temporarily switched off!

SERVERPATH\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\SteamCMD

Rename "SteamCMD" Folder like "SteamCMD_"

4.) The MoD-ID [1631908356] write into your DefaultGameUserSettings.ini & ServerGrid.json

SERVERPATH\ShooterGame\Config\DefaultGameUserSettings.ini
[ServerSettings]
ActiveMods=1631908356

ServerGrid.json
ModIDs "1631908356"

That it...

You must not write the Mod ID in the GameUserSettings.ini . Only in json. And never use on Ark or Atlas Server the Default inis. Only the Ini's in saved/<gridnumber>/config/WindowsServer/

And ModId only in ServerGrid.json File.

Original FAQ by eco

Once the files have transferred put the mod id: 1631908356 into your Game.ini file ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer

Under the [ServerSettings] type:
ActiveMods=1631908356

You will also need to put the mod id in your ServerGrid.json file
ModIDs "1631908356"

this on ecos discord is not correct.. in the announce for the devkit is it correct.. when you use grid server in .json file.. not ini's..
