WOOD, STONE, SAP, AND EXPLOSIVES

Our initial thought behind the change was that we wanted to buff Wood so that it was closer to Stone in terms of strength, so that early and midgame players would be at less of a disadvantage if they weren’t using stone. Whilst we’re not going to be entirely walking back this change, we think we may have overshot with our changes and as a result will be making some adjustments in an upcoming update.

We plan to address the availability of sap and also look at base defence which means possible changes explosives, and other gameplay mechanics encompassing raiding to see where else we want to make adjustments. It’s something we’re still exploring internally but plan to have patched relatively soon. It’s possible that our first round of changes may not be enough, and if so don’t worry, as we’ll continue to adjust as necessary.

Just revert the change. There, fixed.

Exactly.  Nothing they've put in that post is accurate.  Wood still vulnerable to animals, no reduction in crafting costs.  It's a variable in the code that would take 2 seconds to change and it's beyond me why it's still not been done.

A good team would be on top of these things straight away. if the game was in the hands of a top dev team it could be the best game ever and earn them alot of money if they changed to subscriptions.

They never said they would reduce crafting costs beyond the reduction they've already done.

The only issue now is that stone buildings are too cheap in stone. The stone resource economy is dead.

Agreed, revert the costs. I hate farming as it is. And for that matter, if you need to constantly run 2/3x weekends to attract your playerbase, your base rates ARE TO F**KING LOW.

Stone crafting cost and strength needs to be reverted back to what it was before. If you increase the cost then the strength should be increased, not decreased. That's ridiculous.

Yeah, im on board with that. I actually dont mind the current cost, but the defenses should deffinatly be reverted back. Logically stone should be far stronger than wood. And at least  it solves SOME of the offline complaints.

The correct change would be to remove paste, lower the metal by .5x and 1.5x the stone.

The reason is, stone was underused to begin with.  Metal was already the most valuable commodity, and now its need has been driven up higher.
