Foundation spam

Something really needs to be done about this foundation spamming. Marking off a spot for a large company is ok but spamming an entire island is unacceptable. I was in I9 on NA server on Shrewdale island and the whole island is covered by a Chinese companies foundations  (Company name is : ????)

I know its Chinese  because the player showed  with a name in symbols with brigantine and 2 bears  and raced around placing even more foundations.

We have that company here ???? the Chinese have dominated most of the grids, not by legitimate means either. Most of them are cheats, can't play any other way but cheat. If most of these Chinese companies were gone I don't think anybody would have a problem with claim flags, that's how bad it is with the Chinese companies.

On the EU Server is the same problem  not only the Chinese .. other Companys from other Countrys  do that also ... and i think the Dev dont do anything same like  on Ark Servers 

I think only to make Screenshot and Report it we can try to do anythink

Side effect from when they reduced the foundation protection radius to 12 feet. You end up with junk like this.

 

There should be a foundation 'claim' piece and it should be expensive and have 2 tiers, 1 small and 1 large claim radius. The piece itself should be small.

 

You could cap them or make them very expensive to make so people dont spam them like thatch.

 

Maybe an upkeep per piece placed paid in resources per day and if you cant pay the decay back towards your main single main piece.

 

That way if someone takes a massive area and goes afk for days, then they lose there area, could even increase the fee per day absent

the only solution is by making floor foundation to have 0 radius in lawless   and have a limit per account character  how many they can put floor foundation compare to their wall ratio.

I was always wondering - why someone might need such a huge space?

I mean - we built our base in Tundra and even I personally feels it's really huge, it's actually smaller then typical player gather lands for himself with foundation.

I wouldn't be happy about that because we built really cool small town ashore and with 0 radius - anyone will be able to ruin it by troll-type structures.

We have like hundreds on foundation - but all placed 2gether thru our village. We couldn't do all of that with any limits.

There are few more bases in our island and they are all like that (but only we have a village others have a castle/fort types).

On NA PVE a company named Sclater is using the overlapping claim bug to place foundations in other people claims and block rare resource nodes. This is some next level BS.

That's complete bullshit ! We have pegged out a small area around our base just to try and stop people trolling us and to allow us to expand out buildings a bit. The mechanic makes sense up to a point but it needs to be severely limited.

This is the way the Spanish Company Mcclaoud  D7 Island is trying to evict us from the island.

The support service has been ignoring for almost two weeks. Trying to get out on ships, sunk two brigantines.

There are also foundations all over the island.  At least three companies stand in the lock.

OP said the Company name shows up as "????" and I can confirm this.

The sad thing is we have been forced to do the same thing in our region, just to keep people from destroying the resource spawns by walling them in and the likes.  And to block the Chinese hordes from dropping blocks everywhere.  Without us doing the same thing I fear all the resources in our region would have been locked out from anyone using.

I see thanks. Maybe it would help if you post actually screenshot with coordinates or map location. So for server team, it would be easy to trace location. But probably you need to post in the support section. I saw the same thing on another island with symbols ????. But they didn't do anything yet.

I wrote Shrewdale Island, I9. And I wrote:

Which is the Dev Team's admin command to teleport there.
