WTF IS THIS from patch notes -- Removed Elephant having weight reduction for Wood.

Recommended Posts

are they really doing that , so now we officially know that resource gathering tames are not meant for resource gathering , as with no weight reduction they are no better at it then we are manually ,

are these devs really not playing their own game ?

we ask for rhino to have weight reduction so they remove it from the elephant

along with the wrongly named cart that can only carry a mortar this is shaping up nice 😕

Another dipshit change from a clueless dev team re: balance.

Is this a pirate game or fucking Minecraft? Why intentionally and repeatedly make things MORE tedious and retroactively devalue things with time invested in owning them to begin with (tames)?

Not doing yourselves any favors with these anti-fun anti-logic changes.

The irony is they were talking on the stream about "faster to fun" but apparently we need to gather slower

Wtf ...  Well this is interesting Its not like wood isnt the heaviest shit to harvest in term of cost and material usages.  Having that weight BECAUSE they nerfed Stat increase per level ? and they still got Alpha running around killing tames in 2 to 3 hits.

Yeah, its kind of disheartening. Tames gathering was nerfed. Now carrying, and they still die stupid fast to even lvl 1 predators.

Fire arrow gets another nerf, and guns are still unfeasible for PvE.

The ship weight 'fix' still is a half-assed mess. I had 3 seagulls stuck on the lower deck of my half-build schooner in drydock. I was like watching the most macabre game of air hockey ever, and I got stuck on a neighbors brig in drydock while bringing him some extra planks. Why do ships in drydock also act like glue traps?

Still nothing about abandoned claims taking 6 hours to take over, if, by some miracle, no random runs through it harvesting, or unallied people just logging off on a third partys claim.

People want to be able to survive against even the lowest level predators.

People want a reason to tame, and actually use those tames for, well, anything.

People want to be able to take over abandoned claims, instead of just having pointlessly dead areas while so many people have no land.

Naaaaaaaw, what we get is literally the opposite of that, with each and every patch.

It feels like every single change made with the last few patches has taken more and more away from the players, and nothing has been 'balanced', just more and more tedium added, and handcuffing of what people can do.  You play on PvE? Get on your boat and go get powerstones, because if you want to do anything else, its going to be a miserable slog and you'll probably die a dozen times while gathering basic mats to do anything. There's a reason why their 'showcase' builds are all private servers, while on official, we're stuck doing the most utilitarian builds to use the stuff we do collect efficiently.

seriously, are you even playing your own game? WE ASK YOU TO GIVE WEIGHT REDUCTION TO RHINO SAME AS ELEPHANT, AND YOU REMOVE IT FROM ELEPHANT...

What the F are you doing? you don't know better than your playerbase.

so at the moment the only usefull tame is lion / wolfs / tiger / bear  and COWS

and the wolfs etc dont live long enough to even care about

we want weight reduction on

ELEPHANTS

RHINOS

BULL

BEARS

GIRAFFES

feel free to add others

all resource gathering tames ala ark or there is no point in having a taming tree that works as it does ,

Time to abandon Taming forever and use the points for something USEFUL... if we can FIND something useful.
