Kick after installing battleye

Recommended Posts

The reinstall seemed to be what worked for me, 32 mins and counting without being kicked. Was less than 2 mins before and I would get the boot.

Here is what i've tried. I've reinstalled Atlas, BattlEye, twice. I've deleted the BattlEye folder, then validated. Didn't work, so i went to Norton, says it allows battleye access to the internet. I've disabled SLI. I've swapped through ram chips like a black jack dealer in Vegas. I've tried on another PC, same motherboard and CPU. Worked fine on that PC. I'd use taht one if i could, but not an option. This is what BattlEye says.

Corrupted Memory #X

BattlEye detects that your game’s or system’s memory is not what it is supposed to be. Close all unnecessary programs running on the system, scan your system for viruses/trojans/spyware and check your RAM for possible defects (using tools like Memtest86). If that doesn’t help a full repair reinstallation of your system is likely needed.

"If that doesn’t help a full repair reinstallation of your system is likely needed."

"If that doesn’t help a full repair reinstallation of your system is likely needed."

"If that doesn’t help a full repair reinstallation of your system is likely needed."

Are you kidding me. I posted that 3 times, in hopes to return my PC like the wizard of Oz back to a non corrupted OS state.

I've played this game for 300 hours and no problems on this PC. I've played Ark for 12,000 hours and no problems on this PC.

Grapeshot and BattlEye get together and raided my PC offline today and im a bit salty... rip.

So say i do take the time to back up my streaming software and setup, my huge Ark single player game, and the hundreds of other games i've saved and played on to my spare TB drive. format, reinstall my OS, catch up on years of windows updates, reintegrate my data back to my PC. Install anti Virus and other basic needed programs... and i get the same error. then what. cause at that point im gonna be 1000x times irate.

Or BattlEye and Grapeshot could just go back to what they had going before all this started. let us go back to the future, when things worked for me.

Or BattlEye and Grapeshot could just go back to what they had going before all this started. let us go back to the future, when things worked for me.

eyesnthedark/twitch.tv

Will until yesterday everything went fine and i could have a lot of fun. In the evening after 2h of playing i got the first freez on my Computer and it was showing "internal power error". After some trys my pc was able to boot again. I startet Atlas same thing happend again for me after about 1h.

"If that doesn’t help a full repair reinstallation of your system is likely needed."

That was exactly what i was doing, now in this morning i finished all updates and startet Atlas, after 10 minutes same Problem. Guess its time to say goodbye. To bad the time for refund is over...

you can probably get a refund through steam if contact them and tell them the game stopped working for you and link them this forum.

I'd be so pissed man, i posted my info and you can see i have a lot of Data i'd have to deal with. just backing up my data is a more than 24 hour operation. I didn't do a full OS reinstall simply because it's pretty early, i hope they get it worked out. I just ordered hardware for this game (CPU and Memory) so that I can go back to streaming it on twitch. I wish i could really figure this one out. I'm the guy who fixes all my friends computers, and most the time for free. I'm nervous tho, that my post hasn't been replied to once, that this thread isn't being read anymore. We are a very small company and we are suffering because of this issue. Falling behind even more to the already over populated server kraken maw.

Not a solution but a workaround tip: before battleeye kicks you out ,go quickly to a bed select spawn point another region. Like i am logged in N10 , so i choose M11. After successful jump i wait a bit and spawn back to my original location.(N10) with this you can play without battleye kicks you.

My copy was a gift, but I guess if I can't play it my viewer should get his money back, but i really like Atlas so ill wait some time. I've gotten friends to buy the game so it's gonna suck if this just dies in the forums.

I will try that thanks, i've got lots to do to keep our company running.

well i've had this exact problem with pubg for about a month, so i think it's truely battEyes end, but still... i bought Atlas, not battlEye, even with that said i have a ticket in with battlEye. Tho strangely i've had no problem playing Ark survival evolved on official servers.

BattlEye's FAQ suggests:

BattlEye detects that your game’s memory is not what it is supposed to be. Scan your system for viruses/trojans/spyware and check your RAM for possible defects (using tools like Memtest86). If that doesn’t help, the game’s installation on your hard disk is possibly corrupted – therefore, try to reinstall the game.

Could you give that a shot? It's not a widespread issue we're seeing atm.

Deep Scan for Malware = 0 problems found

MemTest86 3,5 hrs 16 GB Ram tested = 0 problems found

Game reinstalled on another drive = same BattleEye kicks

Out of curiosity...

After how many days that half the player base is not able to play, you're going to take back the game-breaking BattleEye update?

It's definitely NOT our PCs fault, you can read many players even having re-installed their whole OS and facing the same kicks again! When do you come to realize it's BattleEyes flawed filters that are ERRONIOUSLY kicking half the players and need to be reset?? How come you release such game-breaking patches without the option for a takeback if it breaks everyone's game??

The height of frustration is, that this seems to be the same mistake repeated you had 3 years ago with Ark and BattleEye!

https://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/357287304419389230/

Progressed much? Check how you (Wildcard/gRapeshot) or the BattleEye guys fixed it back 3 years ago, maybe?

Optimally, test it offline and set the servers back to a non-BattleEye-fucked-state meanwhile... 😤

I have the same issue. I tried almost everything above, reinstalling, checking for malware etc. Nothing works. My battle eye service is running and its still happening.

The only way i am able to connect and stay in game is if i change server, log back to my main, kill myself (bearpoop). Then i get a green screen instead of the beds, i change home region, die in the freeport, then i am able to get back to base and do stuff. Once i log out and back, i am back to not being able to access anything,  and shortly after being kicked. when pushing e  or f on a storage box or animal, nothing happens other than my cursor showing up.  I had no issues before the battle eye patch. Half of my tribe is having the same issue.  the only way to play is by going through what i wrote above but its pointless because if you get dc-d, you are back to buggy state.

Those travel-before-kick-occurs-methods don't even work for me, I get kicked on every section, no matter where.

Strangely, I could play on EU PVP Whale's Wrath without being kicked untill about 12 hours ago, from then on, it happens there aswell. Really frustrating that they don't take back the patch and all we get is questions and suggestions to clean and reinstall our systems.

Been unable to launch the game since BE was introduced, it works fine if i launch using the normal atlasgame.exe or through steam with no BE enabled.

Tried reinstalling the game, editing permissions on the entire foldertree where the steamlibrary is to allow Users full control + ownership to my useraccount.

Tried uninstalling atlas, removed the gamefolder (big mistake since i lost my map exploration) and after that installed Atlas again, still same error.

About to reinstall windows hoping that will solve the problem with being unable to launch the game, not having any high hopes atm though.

The same is with me.
However, he does not show a BattleEye missing but "Network Failure Message: Unable to query server info for invite."
I can not see any official servers in the server list, so I can not join.
Have already tried everything possible. Atlas uninstalled and reinstalled, antivirus etc uninstalled / disabled, winsock reset, TCP / IP reset.
Nothing worked! Fix this bug or take BattleEye out of the game!

I love the foundation of this game and understand its Early Access but would like a MOD or someone to say they hear us and are looking into the problem.

Could you guys try the following, please:

Browse to the following directory: steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

and right click: ATLASGame_BE and select "Run as administrator" and let me know if that works out.

From the sounds of it, seems like it doesn't have the right permissions on your PC, perhaps due to antivirus or security software blocking it, you may need to add it to an exceptions list.

What version of Windows do you have installed? Are you using an insider build or a prelease Win 10 build?

Why don't you publish the exact access rights needed for the game to run?  I'm not about to carpet-bomb my system with Admin privileges trying to make your product (or partners' product) function.

When I try to run the game it immediately fails stating that access rights may need to be adjusted but I cannot see the full path that failed on the warning window.
