With all of the negative posts and complaints (including mine) I just wanted to take a moment and say, 'thank you' to the dev's.  THIS is a much needed fix.  It's not nearly enough but it's a good start:

- Wild land creatures will no longer target crew, tames, or characters on ships unless they have been aggro'd

They are making great progress in the sort time since EA launch! Hope they keep this pace up for next 2 ish years!
