I am not going to attempt to craft a piece because I don't want to waste resources. It appears that medium ship costs may have changed. Edited January 9, 2019 by Yensu I misspoke. MaxPower 126 Posted January 9, 2019 I believe its the cost to lay the keel of the ship that's changed. I don't have the costs memorized but it seems cheaper than it was by a little bit. If so, the patch notes are misleading since it would only be the initial cost of the ship that has changed significantly and not the overall cost of the ship. Brigantine used to cost the following to craft just the shell: Fibers: 1080 Metal: 160 Thatch: 2160 Wood: 1400 now it costs: Fibers: 1512 Metal: 224 Thatch: 3024 Wood: 1960 Galleon seems to remain the same, no changes in the costs of the shell itself. Some of the parts of the ship (decks, planks, gunports) have small reductions in cost: Medium deck: Fiber: 94 instead of 110 Thatch: 176 instead of 200 Wood: 246 instead of 280 Medium plank: Fiber: 408 instead of 480 Metal: 6 Thatch: 360 instead of 420 Wood: 432 instead of 480 Medium gunport: Fiber: 408 instead of 480 Metal: 64 Thatch: 360 instead of 420 Wood: 432 instead of 520 Edited January 9, 2019 by Castillo Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
MaxPower 126 Posted January 9, 2019 I knew the cost of the Brig keel was different.... didn't realize it actually went up. There might be a tiny reduction in its overall fiber/wood/thatch cost but its pretty much the same. Unless the raft is 50% cheaper or something those patch notes are very questionable. Knivet 52 Posted January 9, 2019 I feel this is good, it would be bad to actually see brigs just as usual as schooners in my opinion. Then every clan would just mount brigs full of NPC crews with no effort true it, griefing every afk harbor they could find. The raft or dingly might be 50% cheaper. Anyway, i do like this patch!
