Pirate Hawkins 32 Posted January 8, 2019 (edited) - Claim Flags now have settings which allow other companies or players to build within them, with the specified tax rate applied to them. Please note that exclusion/inclusion lists are not saved when altering building permissions, so switching from 'Everyone' can build to 'Company & Alliances' only will clear your list should you wish to return to 'Everyone' can build. So, I allow you to build upon a spot, them after you build the Taj Mahal , and I go in and change settings to not allowed... what happens to your building and all your wimmen in it? MaxPower 126 Posted January 8, 2019 That's a great question. I'd like to think there is some mechanic in place to prevent claim owners from flipping a switch and suddenly owning everything other people have built in the land... if not, that's a major oversight. Another question is what happens to people building in someone's claim if that claim is captured? Ideally if you were building in someone else's claim and they change the settings or lose the claim your stuff should still be yours but enter a state of decay (the same 4 days you get in lawless would be fine). That would suck but at least you'd have time to get your stuff out. You also shouldn't be allowed to instantly change the tax rate after someone has become established in your claim. Talono 434 Posted January 8, 2019 The question is not relevant, if the land owning tribe decides that your services as tax/ressource slaves are no longer needed they send a mortar/explosive squad and you can hit trees in freeport again.
