Dagrin0707 0 Posted January 6, 2019 I have redis running with no errors and a 1x1 json is in the Shootergame directory. I receive a fatal error everytime I attempt to launch the server. Akarillon 0 Posted January 6, 2019 Re-export your ServerGrid files and double check that the Redis port and password is the same in the map files and the Redis config. A noteworthy thing I found out: updating the server via SteamCMD will wipe the Redis config. At least it did for me in my last update.
dtmaster 16 Posted January 6, 2019 with me he had set the update on standart to the update on the 9.33 in the redis.conf again. I changed it again and the mistake was gone.

When i export them, it places the files into ./export under the ServerGridEditor filesystem. I then moved the two files to my ShooterGame folder where the server is located. Is there anything else that needs to be moved to ShooterGame?

No. Only ServerGrid.ServerOnly.json and ServerGrid.json need to be moved.

I verified that the default ports in the redis (6397) match the ones in the json. Is there a decent guide to walk us through setting everything up to run a server? Piecing things together from forum posts is getting frustrating.

Are you remembering to rename the files into ServerGrid.json and ServerGrid.ServerOnly.json?

BentoFox 0 Posted December 7, 2019 In my case this was caused by the ServerGrid.ServerOnly.json somehow containing an empty array of database connections, I filled them in from a different server on another machine and the issue disappeared for me. For others with a similar issue, I've posted the default values below. "DatabaseConnections": [ { "Name": "Default", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobared" }, { "Name": "TribeDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobared" }, { "Name": "TravelDataDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobared" }, { "Name": "TerritoryDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobared" }, { "Name": "LogDB", "URL": "127.0.0.1", "Port": 6379, "Password": "foobared" } ]
