2x gathering speed

Right..., yes, was one of those that didn't like making 2.5x into 1x... but it was bcs of fiber and bcs not having any iron nodes anywhere nearby so getting iron from boulders took tons of time. But now, 1 and half boulder and already being full lol. Hope that this gonna be combated by making ships more expensive (the bigger ones, can't sail them solo anyway and crew costs food and upkeep...) but also by making ships actualy tanky 10+ cannon bals should not be the end of a ship unless launched from some huge cannon.

Nope, they are making ships even cheaper to build come monday.

Everything they can do to make it instant gratification pew pew pew while still trying to call it a survival game.

Instead of a wipe and actually fixing the duping their answer is to make it so everything is so easy to get you dont have to dupe/cheat to get it. Typical Wildcard response.

Oh, 50% reduction..., would rather want to see 100% increase insteed but make ships like 3x more healthy, perhaps even add some plating which would make ships slower but have damage resistance on planks covered with them.

Less grind more play. This is what we need. This change was needed for companies of less than 15 players that litterally spend all their time grinding to get set up

Not realy, personaly playing solo and didn't have problems with gathering except few resources bcs for example, fiber is almost in everything and alot. They should insteed just make ships and stuff much more durable so they can actualy fight for longer than 1 minute and that alone would justify their price.

They are just catering to the outspoken masses’ negative reviews who don’t play hardcore survival games and aren’t going to stick around anyway instead of focusing on their core audience. 

 

In the end everyone is going to lose. The casuals will leave, the hardcore players won’t be happy with the state of the game such as what happened with Ark, and WC won’t have an audience to fund their future micro transactions.

Not this much. Plus when you allow 100+man groups that have litterally infinite resources no matter what the gather rate is, it’s kind of good to ensure smaller groups not to just get wiped overnight, every single day

For those of you who don't like the recent changes, some advice from a frequent poster 😉 ,

"there are over 3400 unofficial servers. And if you dont like any of those, start your own for $13/mo for 1x1 for 10 people"

Exactly, as with what happened to Ark. They increased the rates, it turned into CoD, and everyone but the alphas couldn’t do anything and everyone got bored with the state of the game.

The survival aspect is slowly drifting away. Which even though I thought that combining mmo with survival was stupid, I am glad they found out they can’t do both.

the sad part is they will still keep the word survival, even though they will get rid of almost all aspects of that survival

People play unofficial for boosted rates not official 😂

this ain’t even a survival game anymore 👍

It's EA. Tames can straight up vanish. Bugs can get you stuck with everything on you unrecoverable. Your ship can be instantly sunk by whales, in at least one case on the reddit thanks to a rollback. Bugs and inconveniences abound. 

If you're trying to argue for more grind with the game in its current unfinished state, not only are you apparently oblivious to the issues that currently plague the game, you also apparently don't have a clue what EA/Beta testing is for.

They know smacking rocks works. They don't need feedback or testing on that. Grind all you want and let normal players get their ships and experience the rest of the game in all its buggy glory so they can more rapidly address issues.
