- Pressing "S" while using steering wheel will lower sails and after they low - ship slowly goes backward. It's really slow but still the way go get out some terrain traps or parking.

- Craft wall hooks. Attach them to any surface on land, put torches/lanterns there. Craft and put somewhere a lever. Set the same pin code to lever and hooks. Now lever control all light on hooks with same pin code. You can do the same to ship surfaces but no lever needed. Just press "O" while on steering wheel to control boat's lights.

*Hover over an item, shift + T moves half of it.

This way you don't have to drag the item.

*Holding N behind the wheel makes the npc's behind the cannons unseat them, and go agressive. They will start sweeping if nothing to do and will cost less because they are not manning a cannon.

*Pressing shift once (captain order 6) will make them re-seat there cannon.

*If a npc is placed at the wheel you can give auto pilot commands from anywhere on the ship by looking at the deck or sail and holding E.

You don't have "turn ship"(without lowering the sails), "reverse ship" or "drop anchor" in the autopilot menu so its best to sail yourself when close to land. Other than that i like it a lot. takes some practice.

Its working. You have to be in the water. It doesnt work if you whistle from land.

Does come in handy when you’re at the top sail alone on your ship.

You can whistle your tames/NPC via your spy glass. Helps commanding them from afar, like commanding them to follow you while you are on board and they are on the shore. Good trick to get tames on board with out failure

Sometimes you need to whistle y first as your ladder is stuck. Y resets it.

It worked fine. But if the ship is too close to a port or else it's not working. Tried a few scenarios yesterday and yes: sometimes it takes two or more whistles until it works.
