Danron 9 Posted January 1, 2019 Wolves in this game are not normal to deal with, if you see one, you can assume it will kill you for sure. Level doesn't make any difference, they keep attacking same damage and IT EVEN ADDS MORE WOLVES. Just in couple min. the whole place is littered with wolves. REMOVE THEM OR CHANGE THEM IT'S NOT FUN OR ENTERTAINING IN ANY WAY. Can anyone of the staff just play on an island instead of playing on streamer servers with only spawning items!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just go to an island and play it where wolves spawn and you will most likely really quickly understand your own game, this isn't normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UDO 361 Posted January 1, 2019 tbo fire arrows are good for all , wolfs are a run away while on foot , but once u get a tamed predator of your own the world becomes a cake walk , its the sme story over and over until u get started and established it is hardish but yes overall they do need toning down a bit ...its the only thing i die too so far. Whilst the game is still in development and damagin through walls is not a good thing, predators in real life are very damaging to humans. 1 wolf would kill a full grown man for sure. So you could imagine it as, not something broken, but as a real life counterpart to the wolves of today. Also, ranting post about how broken a creature in the game WILL not get it removed. Adristor 3 Posted January 1, 2019 (edited) The problems with wolves are: - They outrun you - They Knockback on attack (so you cant mele fight em) - They come in fast packs The only way to deal with em is bugging em...like stucking em at your base door and use a pike or lance, or going to the water where they become slow and sometimes just run around in circles, etc.. But they are everywhere, they bite fast enough to kill someone in 1-2 seconds, creatures respawn very quickly like if it was freeport so even if will somehow survive fight with one or if killed them in water they gonna come back soon so all of this was pointless. They also knockback, meeling them is not hard to hit, the problem is that together with their attack speed they make us go flying, they also are so fast that only a horse is able to outrun them so far from what have seen. They can stay to being able to kill someone in 4 hits, but make that armor actualy matters (having hide armor, does nothing, they still kill in 4-5 bites and there are ppl who say that even best armor, plate armor does nothing against them), make that they bite atleast 2-3x slower, being gone in 1-2 seconds while being thrown arround like a beachball is not fun, especialy when trying to get stuff back. Make also possibility to escape from them bcs right now seeing one without having water nearby means death if we can't kill them from range. They also camp beds and corpses so spawning or running for lost gear means even more deaths and frustration. Also they come often in massive packs, yesterday fought 9 of them, half hour of "fun", half of them killed, half finally gave us any f... time to play this game and ran away after horses. Harry Bosch 6 Posted January 1, 2019 U guys forgot one thing about wolves - when they didnt kick you, u are stucked in them -.- we are on a island with Wolves and vultures and a lot of other predators. Sometimes i survive the wolves with low hp, but than comes this vultures and give me the rest -.- The Combination of all its painfull. We tamed a few Wolves, but thats not rentable from timespanding, Tamed tiers are despawning (no kill message when we got online) or get kill from alphas or larger Packs. wakko151 36 Posted January 2, 2019 i literally just shoot them with a bow and when they get close i stab them with a sword. Two people naked can punch one to death.
