How do I build fences?

So I can build the wood fence support, are there more crafting blueprints to it? I placed the wood fence supports but it's just 2 posts with a gap. I found out I can place walls on the posts without foundations but they are more than twice as tall as the fence posts and you can't see through them like a fence. Has anyone figured it out? Using "T" to change the type just changes the angle of the post.

What are the half walls or those railings under?

So use a wall and press T, will cycle through all the wall types!

Thank you very much! After reading and looking at more walls the thatch doesn't have those options but the wood wall does. Problem solved!

Fences are kind of broken currently.  If the ground isn’t near completely flat the fences won’t work correctly.  They really need to allow clipping into the terrain to have them work better.  This also makes building in general easier as ramps, foundations stairs etc place and look better if you can clip into the ground.
