Wilddogsgamer 2 Posted December 31, 2018 Just now, Baron Von Chaos said: I will now! Let us know! I currently have 30 people on my servers, so cannot test without disappointing a lot of friend's play sessions. I can just change the file and let the auto restart on the servers update it over night.

aezephyr 3 Posted January 1, 2019 I think Buttman is trolling us. Anyone else have a shot at?

Dread Pirate Ash 5 Posted January 26, 2019 (edited) So, I've been wondering how to do this as well, and I have some *possible* insight into the problem. Namely, our server has had this wierd issue where whenever traveling between servers, the game... forgets, for lack of a better word, certain aspects of your stats. We have to literally kill ourselves and respawn to get our weight/fort/HP to be correct. I don't know all the details, because I'm not the one that does our ini files, but I've been told that this is an issue some modders have run into as well, regarding how server-crossing transmits/reads/loads/etc config files. It occurs to me that its *possible* that this is the same bug... meaning your ship would need to die and respawn to fix its stats. Which... obviously isn't going to work especially well, ergo you would never see the 'correct' stats even if you *did* have the right config entries. Hello mate, the problem that u are having is because of ur server configuration. U have to add the game.ini from the main server to all other expansion servers. The game.ini file is located in Atlas/ShooterGame/Saved/SERVERNAME/Config/WindowsServer/ More on topic, i've been looking for ages to solve this problem on my server. The only solution there currently is , is a steam mod that is called improved sails. Lite Version: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1628535798&searchtext= Heavy Version: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1629288537
Pointy 10 Posted January 27, 2019 I could find no reference to PerLevelStatsMultiplier_ShipTamed in the server executable, so I am pretty sure this setting does not exist.

That was my whole point. Our Game.ini and our GameUserData.ini are heavilly modified to change player stats. The modified versions are the same across all servers, and yet we have this problem. Bastian Auryn 9 Posted January 30, 2019 I am also interested in this! It would sure be nice if the devs would publish a listing of the server settings.

TheChad 1 Posted February 6, 2019 We ended up using the weight sail mod (there is a light one and a super one depending on how much weight) on our 7x7 and 10x10. Working out great, people are happy. Combine that with the cargo box mod and folks love it.

Ian-C 2 Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) There is a mod called CustomShip that allows you to configure the base ship weights using the Game.ini file with the following... [CustomShip] RaftWeightAdd=1000 SloopWeightAdd=1000 SchoonerWeightAdd=1000 BrigantineWeightAdd=1000 GalleonWeightAdd=1000 MaxExperiencePointsAdd=17390 I have not tried the last option for points add but it's supposed to increase the level you can put in a ship.
