Rename player?

i seen in showmyadminmanager you can rename your player but everytime i try this command i cant change my players name

If it's the same as Ark, then...

cheat renameplayer "current name"  new name

Their current name has to be inside of quotation marks, but no quotes for the new name.

hm this will not run for me .. i think .. on ARK we have 1 Name ..

on Atlas we have First Name and Surname

It was nice when admins can change the Name from Players

if you pickup RedisDesktopManager you can edit the DB and names haven't tried to change, probably not recommended while game server is up. redis server still needs to be up.

Very dangerous and my testing shows this doesn't completely work.  I did several tests and redis would update but in game would not.  You can rename their "first name" but simply selecting with cheat renameplayer but the "last name" appears to be something new that may not work the same.
