Relic 1 Posted December 29, 2018 Ok so we’ve made a couple sloop ships.... but its unclear where we are suppose to leave it when we log out. Do we turn it in somewhere to a “ NPC ship harbormaster? “ Anchor in Freeport? Anchor in Lawless? Anchor in Claimed land? Where do we “safely”(term used losely) log out? RyuujinZERO 122 Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) Ships that are unanchored degrade fairly quickly over time and can attract ships of the Damned, so you always want to anchor. But the location (inside friendly territory, allied territory, 'enemy' territory) doesn't really matter I don't think, so long as it is anchored. Ships do decay over time even then, but it's very very slow, like real ships you'll need conduct maintenance to them now and then. The EXCEPTION to this rule is Freeports. Freeports have very rapid hull decay even when anchored, to discourage players from clogging up the Freeport servers and to help dispose of abandoned rafts.
