Ciablue 0 Posted December 31, 2021 Hello I used to be able to control my sloop using the "T" menu. I would face the direction that I wanted to go, click T. Pick Go the direction that Im looking and the crewman that I had on the wheel would steer the hip in the direction that I wanted to go in. This would allow me to move about the map fairly effectively with a three man crew. Now when i try to guide my ship, it seems to just go round and round in a circle. Never really going in the direction i want. Was there some change that rendered this method of navigation obsolete?
Gorelander 38 Posted January 2, 2022 I never knew this was even a thing. I'm assuming to do this you needed a crew member on the steering wheel?
Gemini Five 41 Posted January 3, 2022 I think on the new map change, the directions got rotated around. Auto-pilot is not working correctly.

Yes, you need a crew on the wheel. Click on their back to open auto pilot menu. Set head my look my direction, compass heading, speed, other things. It would also auto adjust the sails while a crew was driving. Was very handy but it's not currently working. Looks like the auto-pilot is 180 degrees off now.
