Destroy someone's raft by weight

I'm still doubting if it's possible as I don't want to try this with someone else's raft.

I found one of my alliance's raft had overweighted icon. I saw it was fine before that so I assumed they're in and doing something.
After a while, the raft was gone. I checked with guys and they were not in around that time. Now I'm doubting someone did it.

As anyone can access to workbench inventory, is it possible to put so much weight and let it damaged by someone else?
If so, this should be fixed. By making lock system on any inventory stuff.

It can it seems, and since the weight of anyone stood on deck is added to the ship, a large group of likeminded griefers, carrying a large amounts of mass, jumping on people boats can systematically sink them, even on PvE

Happend to me while i was getting to the raft i saw 4 or 5 full armored and probably full sinking my raft claiming it was theyr territory (the claimed all the island) when i was just following a treasure map.

It can and does happen...  nothing you can do to stop them from sinking your boat with number of crew on your boat or by making it overweight.

Devs don't seem to care about PvE since they won't even acknowledge it's an issue.

It would be easy to fix if the weight/crew is calculated only if someone is at the wheel of the boat, like this the captain could easily stop grievers by hopping out.

Solution: If all sails are closed it should not let overweighing sink ships - at least in PvE. This stops people hopping onto your ship with water barrels or stashing them in your smithy to sink your ship, and also stops any abuse that would arise from alternative solutions.

Why the devs dont notice that a weight maximum is a maximum?
When the character exceed it then he should cant walk anymore, but you can load you up to thous and even walk...

Some stupid kids does it to us too in this moment.
Farmed around 10hrs, they come slowly walked around steps on it and now its a wreck...

Had people try to do this shit to me because I was "spam claiming their lands" and trying to contest when I was just placing flag down in different areas where I was able to see which was uncontested, cause it's hard as fuck to find land otherwise.

 

6 stood on boat from Barbary Coast Trading Co in B11 and refused to get off. Luckily wasn't sinking but couldn't move till they got bored and left.

 

I can handle toxicity on pvp but pve is just ridiculous when theres nothing you can do. People claim an entire island and act like they own everything and sink anyone that comes near.

It's funny how mindofmadness post those screenshots but does not post how toxic his company twigs N berries were being.  They landed on our island and we showed them where the very very few metal resources were being very nice.  They then started to become toxic talking trash to us telling us they were going to take land and their was nothing we can do because it's a pve server.  A company that we later gave land to and later became allies with told us twigs N berries told them they were going to move in on our company and take a lot of land.  By far Twig N berries were the most toxic company to ever come to our Island since launch.  They then tried to recruit people to take the island away from us.  The most funny part was when they called us fake pirates.

The Biz Enton Company has 20+ members.  We on launch claimed like 95% of the island.  We did this for one reason.

1. to give land to nice non toxic people.  We don't want to be neighbors to toxic people.  We want to build ships and have fun with the game.

We have given 6 companies land on the island that are good nice people.  We even help them out.

We don't want drama is why we test people out.  When people are spam claiming our land we tell them to stop or else.  If they are nice people, we will give them land, if they are jerks right away and start talking trash, we grief them until they leave our island.

We only want the north part of the island and the middle of the island.  We have been given the west, south, and east to a bunch of companies who we can trust and are good people. We want good neighbors, not toxic ones.  

Iceduya Blackheart from dead man floating we are allies with can attest we are good people. We gave him gems to help him out because of the ghost ships patch sank their boat.  We are nice people who will help out friends and allies but if you come to our island being toxic to our friends and allies we will sink your ship.

Every ship we sank were people who were being toxic and griefing us.  We will continue to give land to good people we can trust.

Looks like mindofmadness created a new character to come to our island to grief us knowing we would sink his ship to frame us with screenshots.

We can have multiple companies come to this post and back up our claims.  We have even defended our allies we've given land to on the island from toxic people trying to destroy their stuff.  Only way for these toxic people to go away is to sink their ships.

We let people farm supplies on our island but we don't want you to claim land without our permission.  We will also trade supplies with you.  We've traded multiple times with companies.  

Mindofmadness we can still make peace if you want.  We hate drama but will defend our company and our allies 24/7 if need be.

We have sank peoples ships but that is only after giving them multiple warnings.  We don't like doing it but feel like we have to in this broken system and with people being toxic hiding behind the PVE system.

This isn't true either, me and my friend sailed for 6 hours finally stopping at the island Biz had with the rex company there also, we ask could we just have 1 flag spot on the cost and they told us it was their land no, sorry .. so they didn't let us claim nothing.. but other than that , we chatted a few and they gave us directions towards another island and we ended up finding something the next day.. And they said it would be ok to alliance with them.. since it was 2 ofnua and we had nothing we didn't take them up on it..

We have been instructing all our members to tell people who have come on asking for land to wait until Phoenix is on to give plots of land.  He is our officer in charge of that.  We have a lot of members so someone must of told you the wrong thing if this is true.  I want to know the people you talked to so I can talk to them personally.  We have given two plots of land today to two different companies.  We have a total of 8 companies on our island and we are at peace thankfully.  Also give me your company name.  We might be able to work something out if you still need land. First I want to investigate to see if this is true because usually people who come in as jerks we turn away.

I was their when we sank 008 IOS and that was the day after the whole twigs N Berries happened.  You do realize you have a screenshot of twigs N berries in one of your screenshots.  I am assuming you are from Twigs N berries since you have a screenshot of them when that happened the day before the 008 IOS happened.  Now 008 IOS We warned you many times to declaim your flag and you kept on saying no.  We tried to be nice and of course you ran off.  I'm not making things up, how can you have a screenshot of twigs N berries that happened the day before when the stuff that happened with 008 IOS happened the day after?  You just got caught in your lies and now trying to say I'm making stuff up.  We gave bubba gump and tooth and claw land just today.  If you would of just cooperated, we would of given you land also.  The island has been at peace with 9 total companies on it currently except when the chinese and koreans come, that's another story all together.

It was phonex who told me, was him and one other person. We don't land anymore we got a spot up north as long as no more bugs let people claim the land in 30min... we got lots of metal also.

You put four people, each carrying a stack of stone (250lbs per stack), on a low level raft and it will begin losing health. About 5 minutes and it will self-destuct, any inventory on the raft will be on the bottom of the sea in a satchel.
I tested this today. It positively works.

Let me know if you need a new home.  We have spots open.  I talked to some people and they don't recall your situation because they have talked to a lot of new people, half of which being toxic sadly.  You most likely got caught at a bad time where we decided not to give anyone land for a day or two because of a certain toxic group threatening us.  Again, message me if you need a new home.  We want to have fun and make sure other people on our island to have fun. Yesterday me and my friends, farmed our first brigantine for 12-15 hours each as the island we are on is pretty aggresive... we finally made it by night and decided to sail to a safe region ( freeport, at large ) this morning I woke up and got online, only to see our brand new ship sinked without having taking any damage visibily,... got 75+ hours on the game and so do my friends, we farmed smth big to play and we didnt even get the chance to use it. ( we play on pve )

The game is frustating, it is not user friendly, even on pve in a safe zone you cannot guarantee to reconnect to your ship you farmed  days for, I was rly enjoying the game but the past 2 days have been a total disaster, to many mobs on shore, ship of the damned going on shore, bugs glitch,... house / ship destroyed for no reason on pve, we are rly rly sad right now not even angry.

Might not give the game another try, Im willing to no life but it all goes to waste.

Thanks, we got a spot in a5 I believe,  maybe once we get settle and build a ship we can trade..still struggling to set  due to the amount of lions and snakes lol.. and resources not spawning
