FlayAllster 9 Posted February 1, 2021 I've seen a few topics about high ping, but most of these topics are 2019 - so I created a new topic. The actual problem is that after switching to a new sector, the ping randomly rises to 255 and lasts a very long time. No manipulation can help fix this. Also, Internet problems will be excluded by the test on a neighboring computer. Practice for 9k hours in Arc and 1k hours Atlas in 2019 quite clearly shows the devil-may-care attitude and complete impotence of both Wild Card tech support and the studio as a whole. Therefore, I ask players who encountered this problem and were able to solve or figure it out - share information. Perhaps this will help not only me but also other players with same problem. George Catcher 367 Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) It... somehow connected to net-code of the game. We've been to situation when I was experience 255 and run/stops gameplay. At the same time my bro, sitting next room (both our comps connected to same single router) running next to me in a game was fine at 45ms. Also I few times asked in chat about ping issues when I had 255. And players said - they running smooth. Also I often experience step-sailing after I cross the grid (255), and after a while it fixes. So all ping issues happen right after you log in to server. Edited February 2, 2021 by George Catcher
