Crashing after 517.5 Patch

Have been playing Atlas for 178 hours with no problems. After update 517.5 I am getting fatal error crash constantly, dedicated GPortal server. Have verified game files, have not reinstalled the game. I have removed the one and only Mod Hitching post from server and unsubscribed.
Anyone else having this issue or have any other suggestions?

I'm getting a crash every time I try to search for something in the skill tree.

I think the update broke single player as well. I’m getting a game crash every time I try to access the skill tree.

I just figured out a way around it for now and one of the things that starts it. Do a skill reset and when you go to learn your skills again do not put points into advanced or expert shipwright. Hopefully they patch and fix it soon but this way you can play in the mean time without crashing or starting over.

Unfortunately for me, skill menu crashes even after skill reset.  As soon as you pop your last point, it crashes when exits to skill menu.  Now I'm stuck at level one with no silkks  😣
