Docked in H8 now can't log in

About 1 hour ago I logged off to eat. I needed a close island so I picked one in H8. How I cannot log in, get past the "press a button" screen. Did I lose all my gold and character? Can the game just work... Kind of. I see others having the same problem but discord is quite and tickets don't help.
