Cold Heist 0 Posted September 1, 2020 Sorry Dim, they’ll never take tether off because the xbox, any version, could not handle hosting a server and playing it with multiple people. With two xboxes, I was able to host a server with one, and play on it with another but you can not split screen at that point. Maybe try this if you have multiple xboxes. (Having one xbox act as the host, creates a game session not a limited dedicated “tethered” session). I do believe a hardline ethernet connection may be necessary for good performance.
