Kasjo 0 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) Hello Pirates. Im running a 4x4 server Grid, created by the Grid Editor. Since the last Update we are unable to spawn on a Island. My First thougt was, that may the map in incompatible. So i donwloaded the latest version of Grid editor (from 19.7.2020) and created a new Map. Got the Same Problem. After that i wiped the Redis Database and all save folder from game. Tryed again, same Problem. After this i googled a lot. I tryed many times to spawn. I read something on the web from 2018, that sometimes this happens and normaly you get then into a island. But also here i got one time a spawn somewere on the server but not on the Home Server. Funny thing, exactly this happens also if i try to join on my local PC ingame to a own hosted game (not dedicated). Spanw directly in the middly of the homeserver sourrounded by Islands im not able to reach. Does someone have the same Problem? If so, i can upload my current map so may someone found the problem. Im confused that noone else reportet this probllem in steam or somewere else. Found only some older Topics about this. Sorry for my English, im from Germany. esditas 8 Posted July 27, 2020 Das Problem hatte ich im SP auch aber nachdem ich das Savegame ge-wiped habe hat er richtig gespawnt. Insofern du wirklich alles richtig gewiped hast (so wie du es beschreibst) kann das ja nur bedeuten das deine MAP Schrott ist. Du hast sicher nicht die island.json getauscht bei dem SGE...warum auch hier im Forum mal lesen xD. Der aktuelle Grid Editor ist auch vom 7.7 nicht vom 19.7. Die insel auf der du versuchst zu spawnen ist warscheinlich einfach nicht mehr in den core files. Ich würde mal den Freeport tauschen. Cay_J_EE_E der geht auf jeden Fall. Wenn du einen 4x4 Server eicfach so wipen kannst, dann spielt eh keiner drauf...ergo such dir einfach nen Server auf dem du spielen kannst. Alles andere macht keinen Sinn, was willst du machen wenn mal ein schwere Fehler Auftritt xD Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Kasjo 0 Posted July 27, 2020 Ja mit dem Datum hab ich mich vertan. 7.7 is korrekt. Das mit der island.json hab ich nicht gewusst. Wurde soeben erledigt. Dann werd ich mal die Freeports und fehlenden Inseln tauschen. Und den 4x4 Server kann ich wipen wann ich will da er A primär für meine privaten Leute ist (sind nicht viele) und B mir das relativ ist wer da noch drauf spielt. Der Server läuft als reiner Zeitvertreib nebenbei wenn wir mal lust drauf haben. Quasi im On/Off Betrieb. Und was ich mache wenn mal n Schwerer Fehler auftritt? Das Game dort wieder entfernen und begraben. Der Server is für meine Haupt Community mit über 400 Leuten und dort spielen wir andere Spiele als das. Danke für den tipp mit der island.json. Deiner letzten Aussage nach zu urteilen nach muss man ergo schon vorher die Fehler und Probleme kennen und wissen wie man sie behebt bevor man so nen Spielserver aufmacht? Wasn das bitte für ne Logik dahinter und was bringen dann Community Foren wenn man dort nicht um Hilfe fragen darf? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
