SUGGESTION/FEEDBACK FOR GAME IMPROVEMENT

Recommended Posts

I've been playing on an official PVE server  since the game came out on Xbox in Oct.

After playing for a month, i really think you just need one thing that would improve it overall:

I think if you can add the  Wild Pirate Encampments (WPE) and have them patrol the seas and attack islands, it would really keep the PVE experience in check. Plus it would make more sense then the SOTD everywhere you go. Make the SOTD really rare, with a lot of loot (kind of like a Treasure within the whole experience of finding them).

I haven't played against the WPEs in single player but here is my idea for how they would operate: Each Grid has two or 3 (WPE companies) and they would follow a course on attacking an island.  The WPEs would operate like aggressive animals and attack your structures (essentially helping cleanup abandoned taming pins and all kinds of spam/griefers etc.) so if you build on lawless you potentially can be attacked by a WPE. This way people will be more apt to try and land on another players island and try and join them or just pay them tax. (tax has to be affordable though)

I think this would be a natural check on the PVE side and help bring people together and have more fun.

I agree basically the foundation of this Sailing Adventure game should be of a single player , with focus on what can we do as a single player , Trading with NPC's , Escorting Fleets of NPC's , Bounty hunting NPC's , the usual wicked stuff that happens that cause's incentive to sail the oceans . Get hungry Morning Noon and Night .
