gregopeck 9 Posted August 19, 2019 I'm wondering if player made ships are actually faster than other ships. I read that the Galleon is the fastest in the game, but to me it feels to be the same speed as the raft and all the other ships I've built. I am playing in single player mode and I am using a mod that modifies weights. I have three handling sails and three speed sails and it doesn't feel any faster. I think this may be because of my perspective of looking at the water while sailing and not having a couple of player made ships sailing near each other to tell the difference. Can someone tell me if some player made ships are actually faster than others? I think they're supposed to be. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

zottel 297 Posted August 20, 2019 As far as i know both are 40% Slower than Speeds with good wind,but Handlings with 130% acceleration are as fast as Speeds. But on singleplayer the velocity works on Speeds so in the end they will be faster. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
